Today, we remember the most significant event in all of history: the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Scripture had prophesied the coming of the Messiah for centuries. Ultimately, in a humble stable in Bethlehem, amidst poverty and challenges, that prophecy was fulfilled. Hope has come—and His name is Jesus!

It’s my prayer today that the joy of the Lord would be your strength and that He would refresh your soul and renew your spirit.

It is hard to believe there are only 105 days left in the year.
I want to encourage you to pause and give yourself gratitude and appreciation for how much you have grown and all that you have accomplished this year.
Whether you surpassed your goals or fell short, you are still working on yourself and pressing forward, and that's something to feel good about.
Use the next couple of days as an opportunity to regroup, refocus and recommit. Then, set aside time this month to thoughtfully consider your goals and aspirations for next year.

As we reflect on this Holy Week and rejoice in the knowledge that our Savior is alive and working in our lives today, let us be filled with gratitude for the sacrifice that He made for us, and for the NEW LIFE that we have been given through Him. GOD purchased your eternal Security. Salvation is a FREE Gift. But it was not Cheap. It cost God His Son and it Cost His Son His BLOOD. "NEW LIFE" Was Bought, For a PRICE From The BLOOD THAT WAS SHED! Thank the LORD For THE BLOOD!

When Jesus rose from the dead,
grief departed, and His suffering----so wrenching and complete—became a thing of the past. At the moment of Christ’s resurrection, His focus, and ours, turned to the future.
The miraculous lesson of Easter is that through Jesus’ death on the Cross, we have been granted a second chance—permission to leave our old lives behind and stand before the pristine, unmarred canvas of a new day, with all it’s potential for joy and choices that honor God. The slate has been wiped clean!

Here is "A fresh perspective to take with you into April"!
We have come to the end of another month, the end of a week, the end of another quarter. I used to always feel like time rushed by wayyyyy too quickly.
I was not doing enough. I was not growing enough. I did not have enough time to enjoy my weekend, rest, or get ready for the following week.
What if the end of a week is an accomplishment in and of itself?
I started to realize that I was looking at the picture upside down.
The end of a month, and the end of a quarter: a journey well-traveled. So, I decided to change my mindset. These moments, those ending-and-beginning days, are ones worth celebrating.
Let’s choose to let our mind’s let go of whatever “I didn’t do” and feel grateful and proud of what I DID do.
Draw a little circle around this moment for yourself. Maybe you’re feeling stressed about the April Mortgage that is due , or all that April has in store for you.
Maybe you’ve been grinding your teeth lately about end-of-the-month goals that you haven’t quite reached yet. Flip that script. Right now. Sit back, breathe it allllll in, and then let that air out.
Look at what you have accomplished this month, this quarter and this year so far. You’re growing, you’re learning, and in a world like this, you are surviving and thriving.
Think of the good and settle into it. Own it. Remember and believe it!
I want to take a moment now to celebrate with you: YOU HAVE DONE SO WELL AND COME SO FAR!
I am proud of you. And me! Let us draw a line under it, and move into this next month with a new, proud, and grateful mindset.
April, we are excited to see what’s going to happen next!

Stay immersed in a state of Gratitude for each breath that you take; For all your internal organs that work together in harmony for the wholeness that is your body. Thank God for the blood stream through your veins, for your eyes that allow you to read these words and for your brain that allows you to process them.

The GOD who made the Firmament, who made the Deepest Sea, the GOD Who Put the Stars in place...is the GOD who Cares for YOU! Because God cares about YOU...YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR CARES WITH HIM!

The contributions of Black people to American society and the world should be celebrated every day of the year. But each February, Black History Month presents an unique opportunity to dedicate time to mindfully appreciate the global impact of Black individuals and communities.

During we take time to honor and recognize the impact of our Historically Black Colleges and Universities!

The Distinguished Professor Endowed Chair (DPEC) is a strategic initiative through the Sorority that presents an award every biennium to allow a professor residing at an HBCU to focus on work that advances the research agendas of African-American faculty and enhances the quality of life for African-American families. DPEC was established in 1977 under the administration of Delta Sigma Theta’s 16th National President, Dr. Thelma Thomas Daley and is the only traveling Endowed Chair in the world.

Since DPEC's inception over $3,000,000 has been awarded to 19 HBCUs to advance the work of distinguished professors in residence. Tuskegee University, then Tuskegee Institute, became the first DPEC honoree. The 2021-2023 Distinguished Professor is Dr. Gwendolyn Scott Jones, the founding Dean for Delaware State University’s Wesley College of Health and Behavioral Sciences.

In the words of Dr. Daley, “Some walls crumble, but the walls of Black colleges must hold on!”

Perfect Love is Available

God’s Love is different from any other kind of Love. In fact, the Bible says that God is Love.

God sent His only Son to die for the sins of every person. There was only one reason for God to experience that kind of heartache: His Love for Us.

God didn’t need Us, but He wanted Us. He fought to give the furthest heart a gift we could never earn or deserve: Eternal Life.

God’s love is Unconditional, Extravagant, and Everlasting. And it’s for Everyone.
