Last month, we lost our dear friend and colleague, Jose Rafael Solares. Jose was an Assistant Clinical Director at Behavioral Learning Network (BLN) and a key part of our leadership team. Jose was a brilliant behavior analyst and above all, an incredibly kind and compassionate human.
To celebrate Jose's life and legacy, it is with great pride that Heather and I, on behalf of Behavioral Learning Network (BLN), have created an endowment to support the Jose Rafael Solares Scholarship in the Practice of Behavior Analysis at Cal State University Northridge (CSUN). Through this endowment, each year, scholarships will be awarded to future students in behavior analysis to support the field and ensure Jose's legacy lives on in perpetuity.
To create the endowment, Heather and I have pledged $25,000. We are hopeful this endowment will grow well beyond that over time, through the generous donations from others.
