Ramon Carrion - Piercer / Studio Owner

Ramon is the proud owner and head piercer of Body Art Gallery in Condado, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Over 15 years ago, at the age of 18, he learned basic piercing theory from a friend. That little push and motivation ignited a self-taught journey that made him the piercer he is today.

Ramon has represented the piercing and tattoo community on various Puerto Rican TV outlets. He’s been interviewed by public figures, has modeled for Dermablend, and appeared as a guest and extra in a number of music videos. These opportunities have complemented his piercing prowess and helped him reach the independence and growth he strived for in the early years of his career.

Annie recently celebrated her 10-year piercing anniversary! Her career began in Orlando, FL, but she has spent the last 5 years at the legendary Shaman Modifications in Dallas, Texas. Annie specializes in symmetry and ear projects. Check out her Instagram for photos of completely amazing paired forward nostril and upper lip piercings! (Among other things!) She loves her job and being trusted to help someone’s dream come true.

When Annie isn’t piercing, she is obsessing over all things horror and even sews little horror movie character plushies for fun.

Marina Müller - Expert Piercer / Jewelry Stylist / Master of Multiple Nostril Piercing Projects!

Marina was born in Germany, raised in Belgium, and moved to California in 2010. She was always interested in body modification but never planned on becoming a piercer. After 2 years of working the counter at Industrial Tattoo & Piercing in Berkeley, her dear friend (and BVLA model), Lysa Spitkovski, offered her an apprenticeship. 11 years of piercing later, she still feels extremely lucky to work in this industry, which is filled with so many incredible people.

Marina is an inspiration to so many around her. She is likely one of the strongest and most physically fit female piercers to date!

Lysa Spitkovski - Veteran Piercer & Studio Owner!

Lysa has been piercing for 28 years, and yes, she still loves it! She learned to pierce under a woman named Noni Warawa in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where she worked for eight years before relocating to Vancouver. After attending her first APP conference in 2000, it became Lysa’s goal to move to the US, learn as much as possible about her craft, and become a leader of a badass, busy, and amazing shop. She is now co-owner of the renowned Industrial Tattoo & Piercing in Berkeley, California.

Lysa’s favorite thing about her job as a piercer is making people happy and being a part of her clients’ lives - struggles and achievements alike. She holds dear the special feeling of instant trust and that people tend to remember her impact for years to come.

Manny Leon Guillen! Body Piercer Extraordinaire!

Manny’s piercing career began in 2019 while completing a degree in Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley. Learning about human anatomy and how it heals aligned perfectly with his passion for decorating the body with jewelry. Manny has spent the last few years traveling the US, working in some of the best studios and collecting techniques from industry icons.
