We had a great time meeting many of you at the Library's "Snowed In Open House" last Friday. Library staff did an amazing job creating an event for our community to come together and celebrate art, books, each other, and our wonderful library. Last month's summer book sale at the Louisville Farmers' Market was such a big success that we're doing it again! Join us on the library's plaza this Saturday (July 17), 9-12, to snag some great books at fantastic prices. All proceeds benefit the library!

The LPL Foundation is excited to announce our first Summer Saturday book sale! We'll be on the library's front patio, Saturday, June 12, 9am-12pm, with a fantastic selection of great used books for reasonable prices. All proceeds benefit the Foundation and many of your favorite library programs, including the Summer Reading Program. Stop by on your way to the Farmers Market and pick up some summer reading!

This April, the library celebrated with a successful book donation event! More than 9,000 pounds of books were donated to be resold or recycled, and kept out of landfills! Keep an eye out for Summer Saturday book sale events coming soon!
