A few memories from Zena and Nicholas’s big day at Castle in the Clouds in New Hampshire🏰

I’ve found that as a photographer you can really only plan so much when it comes to weddings. On the wedding day for Zena and Nicholas, we were all constantly adapting to a rapid back-and-forth change of bright blue skies and ominous, fast-moving, clouds… I swear the storms circled around the Castle without a single rain drop falling on anything.

Zena and Nicholas stayed cool and didn’t stress too much which facilitated a seamless wedding day. So, from my research at 75+ weddings, I’ve found that it’s best to embrace the uncertainty instead of stress over it. I promise, it makes a good photo.

Also, I am officially in Boulder, Colorado! I am only taking a few east-coast weddings in 2024. The rest will hopefully be out here! Looking forward to taking some rest from this year’s busy wedding season and planning for another one next year (in Colorado!)

I think one of the biggest things I struggle with as a wedding photographer is feeling comfortable enough to really let my style shine through. I’ve found that at weddings where I vibe with the clients and feel like I have a layer of comfort around the bride and groom, the photos really speak for themself. So this is reminder to get to know your photographer at least a little bit before your big day! They shouldn’t be like a stranger you have to invite to your wedding. An engagement shoot, a coffee date, a catch-up Zoom: I’m here and very excited for it💛
Sydney and Brody’s wedding was one where I felt excited and happy and comfortable. And the photos reflect those good feelings:)

Perfect. Fall. Day. Soon the leaves will be gone up in NH and things start to take on a more spooky look until we get the first real snowfall in late November🎃
It was so nice to meet Sam and Joe before I make the trek back east (from Colorado) for their big day next year. They are fantastic. I feel very lucky to have couples that are easygoing and fun like these two.

On another note, if anyone has any Colorado recommendations on things to do/living suggestions please DM me! Moving in March!

Kelsi and Anthony were giving me big movie star vibes and I’m here for it - and for them🍿👀 A beautiful fall wedding that went off without a hitch. That’s how we like it!

Brody and Sydney walked down the aisle to a violin version of Love Story by Taylor Swift. So that’s pretty freaking cool. Documenting their special day felt like hanging out with old friends. I love that!!

The cutest family session the other day in Thornton, New Hampshire. Seriously, the baby gave me a hug and wouldn’t let go of me when we are all done… I’ve held two tiny babies this summer and I am IN LOVE. Why are they just so darn cute!?🫠🥹

Lexi and Spencer tied the knot this past weekend in a beautiful ceremony in Wakefield, New Hampshire. It was a stunning, laughter-filled, day. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Christiana and Austin celebrated their wedding last Saturday in their own style and loved every second of it. This serves as a reminder that your wedding day is supposed to be about YOU and only you. So do whatever will make you happiest! Really grateful I got to hang out with these two on the most epic day of their lives💛

Had a blast with Jordynn and James up in the White Mountains two weeks ago — and got attacked by a lot of bugs… They did some piggy back riding, jumping, laying, and a little smooching: so a pretty fun day I think:)

In other exciting news, I’ve been crazy busy since our shoot with more weddings and because I started out a new role as the marketing coordinator for Blueshift, an aerospace and defense company. Very excited to bring my photography and videography skillset to the company and be able to work with a team again!

Married on top of a ski mountain?! That’s right. Reagan and Collin are the coolest. Cant think of a better wedding than one that involves taking a chairlift up a mountain to tie the knot on a beautiful summer day in New Hampshire

I knew I would love Brianna and Peter as soon as I met them. We talked about hiking the Presidential Traverse which meant instant friendship🫶 So excited to shoot these two’s wedding in July and meet all their beautiful family and friends

Introducing: Erica and Kyle!!! So much fun walking around the Boston greenhouse and chatting about hiking. Always my favorite to hear about my couple’s adventures and hobbies, especially when I love all the same activities🫶 Can’t wait to hang out more on September 3rd!!

I always get so nervous before my sessions but then end up having an absolute blast with my clients. And Jennifer and Andrew were no exception. They were such a pleasure to work with. I loved helping Andrew plan and surprise Jennifer with the proposal. I was smiling SO big and shaking when he got down on his knee… The cutest💕
