Hello everyone, there are 2 volunteering options for this month:
April 20th in Lynwood
April 24th in Santa Ana
In an effort to continue our mission we would like to share a brief list of items that we collect and distribute accordingly THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE YEAR.
Our team works solely on donations made by the community.
We collect these items all year long and try our best to distribute and feed the community at least once a month.
Feel free to message us for a drop off location near you.
We also welcome monetary donations (see our Highlights section) any amount helps.
For any additional information, questions, concerns, volunteering or collaborations message us ππ½
Friday we had to honor to bring a little Holiday cheer to a transitional housing unit with 70 families. We collaborated with and to bring burritos, household cleaning supplies, clothes, shoes, fresh produce, pantry items and Santa! We went a little further and got gifts for the children as well, which brought everyone to tears, happy grateful tears.
We are very blessed to have the people we have on our team to make these kind of events happen.
If you are interested in giving back to your community you can always message us.
Thursday we got a call from ANOTHER local elementary school who had 4 students who needed winter gear and a lunch pail. Your donations truly went a long way and we were able to provide coats, sweaters, beanies and a lunch pail for these kids. Seeing their faces light up when trying on the coats was amazing and truly brings us joy. Joy to have such a wonderful community that helps us give to one another. Thank you all so much.
Expressive 9 relies solely on donations from the community for the community ALL YEAR LONG.

A local elementary school reached out about 2 families that could benefit from our Dinner Baskets. In conversation we learned about their Coat and Sweater drive and we knew we needed to jump in and help. With only 3 days notice we were able to collect an abundance of items from our amazing donors. We were able to donate what they needed plus beanies, gloves, scarves, masks, hand sanitizers and more baskets.
During the event the team got to meet Santa along with other community leaders.
For more information on how to get involved in the community, volunteering opportunities or to donate message us!
Two of our local High Schools decided to start a community food drive with us to fulfill our Dinner Baskets. It was such a good turnout that we reached out to our extended community and were able to fill up the community pantry at a much needed apartment complex.
Thank you to from for pointing us in the right direction

The season of giving is here! We are continuing to provide for our community with dinner baskets this holiday season, but we need your help!
Our team will be putting together and distributing dinner baskets through the end of of the year. Please see the second slide for a list of items we are collecting. In addition, please let us know of any community members, who you know, that may benefit from one of our dinner baskets
With your help we are able to reach more families and we thank you for continuing to support our mission.
Our team was contacted by a local high school that our community needed help asap. We set up a quick food drive to start our Community Dinner Baskets. Within only 1 week notice we were able to meet the goal of 10 baskets going to 10 families. We cannot thank you enough for the food and monetary donations.
We will continue with our food drive while we assemble and distribute our baskets thru January 1st.
You can always message us for drop off information or if you or someone you know could use the help.
Welcome to our page!
Expressive9 is a family and friend community organization started in April 2012 by and in Lynwood, California. Our mission is driven by philanthropy, we are all for the community by the community. We are not yet a Non-Profit Organization but certainly are heading towards that direction. We strive to end homelessness in our community by collecting donations to prepare sack lunches and care packages and distribute them accordingly. We bring awareness to different causes that our community struggles with like Autism, TSC, heart disease, cancer and diabetes as well as working together with local officials and making our voices heard.
We support local small businesses and volunteer whenever and wherever the opportunity arises. In the past we have participated in raising funds for 5k charity walks with Step Forward Against TSC, Homewalk and National Tumor Association.
We have also volunteered with the
