I’ve had my current sewing machine for 3 whole years! Happy birthday, sewing machine!

Here is the first custom watch band bracelet made for someone other than myself! There was a little hiccup with the sizing, which required making it a second time. But now it fits perfectly.

My customer loves it so much that she ordered coordinating earrings.

Our schools are back in session!

I volunteered at the elementary school a couple mornings this week to help the youngest students open milk cartons, packages and containers at lunch. One kindergartener asked me why I was wearing so much green. “Because it’s my favorite color!” I said. Her lunch buddy likes yellow, but she likes green, too.

My husband said the flowers on my dress look like they should glow in the dark. Sadly, they do not.

I was so excited to find these collapsible laundry baskets at Aldi today! Other stores have them for $30, but these were only ten bucks a piece! We have gone for so long with just a single laundry basket at our house, partly because it keeps us from leaving too much sitting around waiting to be folded and put away.

I’ve always wanted to stop at Peach Park in Clanton, AL! We finally did on our way back from visiting my father-in-law over the weekend. I got some peach ice cream and a bucket of sweet, juicy peaches.

My children have decided they love peaches, so I’ve had to share. After breakfast today, we’ll already be down to just one 🍑! 😢

I’m singing in a patriotic concert this afternoon ahead of the Fourth of July holiday. The choir and orchestra are decked out in red, white, and blue.

Olive green with orange accents were our wedding colors! I think I wore the larger wooden bead bracelet to the rehearsal dinner.
