Condolences go out to Rosie Belk's family. She passed away November 13th, 2023. Rosie worked at Grimm Book Bindery for over 45 years. She was always cheery, helpful and a wonderful person to work with. We are deeply saddened at her passing. Services are this afternoon, Monday November 27th from 12:00 to 2:30 at Cress Funeral Service, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie.

When I read of old manuscripts like the following, that have survived 1000s of years, I wonder how much will be lost with "digital" books. People ask me all the time "Aren't printed books a dying breed?" I say "NO! They are alive and well." Printed physical books stay. A digital copy tends to die with the owner. No one passes down their "favorite Kindle book". They DO pass down their favorite printed books however and we enjoy our part in keeping them in good shape to survive for years to come!
