The dorsal pattern on this Axanthic Lilly White is just beginning to fade away. As many of you know, the cream from the harlequin gene fades away as Axanthics grow, but the cream coloration that is caused by the Lilly White gene (this is different than the cream caused by the harlequin gene) does not get erased by the Axanthic gene. It's simply fascinating how all the different mutations interact in crested geckos, and this just goes to show that the old idea that crested geckos don't have traditional "morphs" is outdated and incorrect.
