Mark Flanders
Mark Flanders for Ward 4 Alderman. Insurance Investigator & Manager Fortune 500 CO’s, 42yrs, Retired
Enjoyed some good basketball this afternoon at The Heights.
Here are some photos from Tuesday’s election.
While the election result for me was personally disappointing, for the city they were fantastic.
We added a wonderful new mayor and multiple great new additions to the aldermen. For the first time in 25 years we have parity on the BMA. I am encouraged by this and the opportunities it presents for positive change to our city. We are in a much better place after this election. Please don’t squander the opportunity.
Lastly, I am humbled by and want to thank the number of people who voted for me. Also, thanks to my family and many friends who supported me throughout the campaign. Thank you so much for your faith me.
Bonnie is resting up for tomorrow’s election.
In all seriousness, I want to thank everyone who has helped and supported me. There are too many to name. In particular, Stephanie, who has been there every step of the way for me. I am truly blessed.
Please VOTE tomorrow for Manchester, the unique place it is and the potential it has.
Sign waving again today running up to Tuesday’s Election. Thank you to Candidate Jim Mara for coming to Ward 4 to help. Please get people out to Vote 11/7 🇺🇸
Finished the day going door to door in the Ward meeting with voters then out to eat at Masa with Stephanie.
Sign waving with other candidates earlier this morning to get out the vote. We need people to please participate in process and VOTE.
The 11/7 General Election is Tuesday. Please get out and VOTE to effectuate the positive change necessary to improve our city. I will vote in the best interests of the city and be an advocate for ALL residents. I will respond to your inquiries in a timely manner.
Below are my positions on the issues:
Thank you.

Happy Halloween from Ward 4.
Sign waving earlier with Crissy Kantor, Joe Levasseur and Ken Tassey. Got to love the NH weather.
Now time to relax on the porch with Bonnie.
Gorgeous day to door knock with Jay Ruais and Stephanie in the Hanover Hill neighborhood. Met with a lot of voters outside enjoying the weather.
On November 7th, let's shape Manchester's future together with the Common Sense Leadership Team. Vote for Jay Ruais for Mayor and Mark Flanders for Alderman. Your voice matters!
Wonderful get together tonight with fellow candidates at Piccola. I can’t say enough about the great staff and food at Piccola, in downtown Manchester. Thank you Norri for all you do and tonight.
Sign waving earlier today at Hannaford’s with fellow candidates Kathy Paquette and Scott Mattiello.
If anyone is interested in holding my sign at the polls on November 7th please let me know. I would love to have you.
Thanks Norm to you and your family for coming to our show.
Absolutely enjoyed the show "Brigadoon" by the Manchester Community Theatre Players. The entire cast was terrific!!!
Also got to see my good friend Mark Flanders (Candidate for Ward 4 Alderman) who was very good with his performance. 💯
Third showing of Brigadoon tonight. Two remaining over the weekend. I am so proud to be part of this great show and The Manchester Community Theatre Players.
I attended a Ward 4 Neighborhood meeting last night at the Library put on by the current Alderman. About15 residents attended. Also in attendance were 4 Police Officers, representatives from The Fire Dept, The Health Dept, Parks & Rec Dept and The Housing Stability Dept. There were some good discussions on various neighborhood issues. Going forward I will be scheduling more meetings on a regular basis.
Ross Terrio and I on the Will & Joe how Last night.
Meeting with more voters today and placing signs. I am encouraged. There’s nothing like the door to door.
Brigadoon second show. Photos with Stephanie, Joey and Lisa.
Great weather to go door to door with Stephanie this afternoon. We met with more voters and their dogs. And no that is not Bonnie.
Opening of Brigadoon last night. Good audience for the first show. Adam, Tim & Lexie were there. Thanks to all who came. Tonight the show starts at 7:30pm.
Here's my 3 minute candidate video speech from Manchester Public Service TV. I humbly ask for your vote on November 7th.
The only way we can bring about positive change to our city is voter turnout. Please vote.
While placing some signs earlier in the day I ran into one of Jay Ruais staff Marie who was working in the same neighborhood. Great person, it was so nice to meet her.
Manchester Ink Link's voters guide and candidate questionnaires are out. 2 links attached. The first link are my responses to the questions. The second is the link to all of the candidate’s responses.
Compare and contrast the responses. It is important to know where the candidates stand on the issues. We need voter turnout on November 7th to bring positive change to the current board and to the city.

Hitting more houses today with Adam and meeting voters.
Working on the soundtracks to Brigadoon this morning. The show starts next weekend 10/13 and 10/14. Please come see this great classic show!
If you have been following the Manchester Dumpstergate Controversy which would increase already unaffordable rents even higher, I attach 2 links.
The first link is the 4/4/23 Solid Waste Committee Meeting video in which my opponent when voting for it states "I think this is great and I am prepared to give it a hardy yes." She asks for private trash collection to be expanded into Ward 4. Please watch the video, it's about 11 minutes long, please note about 3 minutes into it.
The second link is an article about the controversy in Thursday's Union Learder from Tuedsay's BOMA Meeting where she states " I misunderstood what was provided to us, I am acknowledging that mistake on my part."
Which is it Christine? This does not benefit Ward 4 and/or the city.
