I'm Constantine Mills, a photographer in New England based in New Hampshire. I’m not the one who's there to be seen.
When you go to an event, not every movement has a memory, unless it's captured, unless it's photographed. Hey, so this week is always rough on me as it's the anniversary of my foster brothers su***de. Add in some family health scares and I kind of put editing on the back burner to focus on my mental health & family this week. That said, I'll be editing the Fan Expo photos this coming week Promise!

Submissions are now open for the 2024 Magnify Voices Expressive Art Contest 🎨🎬🎙🖊 The submission deadline is April 21.
New Hampshire students in fifth through 12th grade are invited to submit a creative piece about their experiences and connections to mental health. An initiative of CSoC, Magnify Voices Expressive Arts Contest raises awareness, erases stigma, and effects change to help ensure the social and emotional health of youth in the Granite State.

Major shout out to this spooky dame for letting me be a small part of The Sister Witch Company's 4th annual Witches Gala. A monster masquerade where all the proceeds of the night went to support not just one, but two nonprofit organizations Granite State Dog Recovery and Corey's Closet.

Unfortunately I won't be able to be there Saturday for I'll be Terror Con, the con where nightmare come to life as I'll be meeting Robert Englund.

Honored to have been a part of the Magnify Voices Expressive Arts Contest again this year for their 5th annual contest, this time at the Silver Center for the Arts. It's so great that they just keep getting bigger with each passing year. Seeing all these pieces of work was truly inspiring and it was so cool seeing not only new students but some of the students from last year here still fighting to raise awareness and erase the stigma around mental health.

I have been addicted to going to concerts for most of my life. The thrill of watching a band step out on stage, the stage lights rising brightly in striking colors, all the screaming people around me and the penetrating feeling of witnessing a band I admire and like LIVE. I started taking pictures on my cell phone at large venues where cameras were not allowed. I would post them on social media and received some great feedback, good and bad, of my work. I took it up a notch and went to some local venues that allowed cameras, using a Canon Rebel T4I and while it was still pretty much a hobby then, I decided to go to college and learn all I could about photography. I’ve taken every opportunity I can to learn more about my chosen craft, that includes getting my Associates degree at Manchester Community College in Fine Arts with a 3.7 G.P.A. to transferring to the New Hampshire Institute of Art, now the Institute of Art and Design at New England College, for my Bachelor’s degree in photography. As well as learning from other artists like the legendary Jeremy Saffer and Marc “Porter” McKnight. Once I learned all the tools available for editing photographs that I currently know, my photographs evolved and took on a whole new quality. Bands started requesting my pictures and sharing them as well as requesting me to attend their concerts. Now I’m addicted to getting just the right shot. I take concert photographs for myself and if the band likes them all the better. This art form has given me a better understanding of my own reality and how I can express my world through my art. I feel blessed to be able to do what I love surrounded by the environment I crave.
