ONCE AGAIN COVID-19 HAS REARED ITS UGLY HEAD! THE BAND SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW NIGHT - 1/15-22 - GREGG MARTINEZ & THE DELTA KINGS CANT BE AT RUBY'S BECAUSE SEVERAL MEMBERS HAVE TESTED POSITIVE.

THANKS TO ALL WHO CAME OUT YESTERDAY TO SUPPORT THE MEMORY OF HARRY ABADIE. IT WAS GREAT. AND THANKS TO THE MEMBERS OF SUPERCHARGER FOR PUTTING THIS ON, THE THREE RIVERS BAND AND JAY B. ELSTON BAND FOR DONATING THEIR TIME AND TALENT. AND BUCKY SALLES WHO PROVIDED AND COOKED THE PORK & SIDES, AND CHRIS COURVILLE FOR HER GREAT DESSERTS AND FOR THE OTHER DESSERTS PROVIDED, SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DONATED THEIR TIME TO HELP MAKE THIS WORK.
HARRY WAS A GREAT INDIVIDUAL WHO MADE US ALL FEEL BETTER JUST BEING AROUND HIM, WE WILLMISS HIM ALWAYS.

UPDATE ON FRED:
HE HAS HAD THE BACK SURGERY AND IS DOING VERY WELL! (ALTHOUGH HE ISNT THE BEST OF PATIENTS. ) HE HAS A LOT OF RESTRICTIONS UNTIL HE IS HEALED BUT SO FAR HE IS DOING GREAT - THE HORRIBLE PAIN HE HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING FOR MONTHS IS GONE! WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO A COMPLETE RECOVERY.
THANK GOODNESS FOR OUR EMPLOYEES AND FRIENDS WHO HAVE STEPPED UP TO HELP OUT WITH THINGS AT THE BAR WHILE I TEND TO FRED. AND WORK HAS BEGUN AT OUR HOUSE WITH THE FLOOD DAMAGE. LIFE IS GOOD!

Thanks to everyone who came out Saturday afternoon to hear the great band Supercharger! The music was awesome, weather cooperated and you all made the day. Its the first time we have heard live music since March 14, 2020. We can't wait to get back to a "new normal".

We have celebrated Mardi Gras for 36 years at Ruby's with a band, parade and a pig roast. Not this year and we are so bummed out about it.
We tried every which way to figure to how to have an outdoor celebration for Mardi Gras. Supercharger was even willing to play on an outside stage and our pig roaster was all set to fire up the grill. But we just couldn't risk having the crowd that you know and we know would be here - especially for Supercharger!
We have made it this far without contracting COVID and we want to stay that way and want you to be safe too. All we can say is -- next year. We can't wait to have live music again.
We will be open Mardi Gras day with outside service only so come by and say hello. We miss you all.

thanks for hanging in there with us - we hope to allow you to come inside the bar soon. We will be open on Christmas Eve till 8pm. On Christmas Day we'll open at 3pm - in time for the Saints game. And on New Year's Eve we will ring in the New Year. Of course all of this is done outside under the tents - with a propane heater. Fred & Dianne and the Staff at Ruby's
