The question keeps coming up "Emily are you still seeing clients?"

The answer is YES! I've been pretty quiet on here because I've been pretty booked up and haven't had extra time for FB.

However with January right around the corner I know those resolutions are coming and I want to help you do this the right way. Your overall health is most important while losing weight. Not just a quick fix to get the weight off and have it come right back on. THAT ISN'T HEALTHY!!

This vanilla peppermint smoothie is perfect for a warmer winter day. Loaded with fiber and nutrients from banana & cauliflower, you can’t go wrong. My kiddos devoured it and didn’t taste the cauliflower at all.

Add a scoop of protein powder to increase your protein intake.

Ingredients:
- frozen banana
- frozen cauliflower
- drop of peppermint extract or oil
- milk of choice

Blend and enjoy!

Do you find your weight fluctuating throughout your weight loss journey?

It is completely normal for your weight to fluctuate as your losing weight. For example it may go down 5 lbs then up 1 lb.

This can be for several reasons:
- ladies your cycle can cause this
- was your sodium intake high the night before?
- did you weigh at the same time (morning to morning) as the last weigh in?

As long as you have a total loss week to week or month to month you’re doing great!

Life is BUSY!! This is the #1 thing I hear from clients but that doesn’t mean hope is lost in losing weight.

If we’re overweight it effects our overall health. It isn’t always just about the way we look and feel. Our health counts on us being at a healthy weight.

My #1 tip to lose weight during a busy season is to track your protein. By getting enough protein throughout the day it helps:
- stabilize our blood sugars
- stabilize our hunger
- stabilize our hormones
- build lean muscle which helps burn calories.

It’s found in things like chicken, eggs, beef, fish, clean protein powders, h**p seeds, and beans just to name a few.

You can do it!!

Chocolate Peppermint Whipped Cream 😍

Oh man this turned out SO good!!!

1 cup organic heavy whipping cream
1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 drops peppermint essential oil or extract
1 Tbsp maple syrup

Use a hand mixer and mix on high for 1 min
Enjoy!!

2 Holiday Hacks to help you stay on track

#1 increase your water intake. This helps flush out excess toxins, inflammation, and even helps reduce brain fog. I love adding lemon juice to mine for an extra boost.

#2 Use those extra carbs! If you’re overeating on carbs or fat, there’s no reason to feel guilty. Carbs are our bodies preferred source of energy. Simply use them by going to the gym or lifting weights at home.
