How do you like to work … especially for those BIG tasks?This is my current favorite office du jour at home. Notice I have a lovely desk in my window but what I prefer is my club chair, ottoman, and a lap pillow. 1. I have a better view because I can see out the window.2. Especially for challenging tasks, like today’s line sheet, I really value being as comfortable as possible. It softens any stressors I might feel. Makes me feel more creative and the lounge-vibe actually helps me get the job done. I’m so curious about office spaces and how people prefer to work.I hope you’ll share yours! As I dream about taking a retreat day I am also deep in the heart of event prep for a local Art In The Park I’m doing on Saturday. This is how I am maximizing my space while also elevating my display. (Literally in every way). When it comes to artists markets, craft fairs, and events - whatever you can do to create an environment that keeps the focus on your work - it’s a winner. Being that this is a one-day event I am not bringing the tent/shop set up. I’m all about as much ease and low effort as possible. But I can still create a sense of order, ease of shopping, and an experience that will help me help possible clients. Shelves - Amazon: “Furinno Turn-N-Tube” (around $40 a pop - I said $25 in the video but any which way - totally worth it). I use these in my studio for storage after. I’ll be back with more BTS of setting up for this one-day event. Question of the day: What can you do to create a focused experience for your product? I’d love to hear your thoughts. xo Katherine
