Our mission and vision statement ❤️❤️
Mission: To be a unique organization that advocates for positive change and breaks down barriers for individuals, children, and families affected by, and at risk of incarceration.
Vision: To build a safer and stronger community that recognizes and values the potential for growth and transformation in every individual, regardless of their past.
There are astronomical amounts of agencies helping individuals reintegrate into society after incarceration. Sadly, many are missing elements which need to be incorporated into their programming! Such as workers with lived experiences and training for workers who do not have lived experiences.
Perfect Peace is committed to community building which includes all!!
That said, I would love to educate organizations on how to successfully decrease their recidivism rate showcasing a successful organization.
Book me for presentations!
CONGRATULATIONS!! These men just made history as the first inmates to ever graduate from Yale University while incarcerated. 🎊

If you recall a young girl getting hit by a car in Columbus during the summer and killed, her father has been a part of Perfect Peace Prison Project since we started. I can't imagine the turmoil and guilt he has and is endured. He is in need of clothing ie... longjohns and food. If anyone would like to bless him I can give you his contact info and link to order items. Contact me

Why I do what I do:
I remember being at Carpenter Elementary School. Guessing...I was about in the 4th grade. What I loved doing was dream and fantasize while gazing out of the window. Daydreaming was my escape my check-out. That said, when asked what I wanted to be, my reply was a psychiatrist, so I could help my family; who I thought was dysfunctional😂😂😂🤐. Although I didn't really know what dysfunctional was.
As a child and an adult I love helping those who are labeled, oppressed, and criticized by society. In my lifetime, I was labeled, oppressed, and criticized by society. Also considered the black sheep of my family. Those labels are very hard to undo and many times individuals, no matter what accomplishments they have made, some of their peers will continue to see them as what they were, and/or will find amusement if they fall short in ANY area of their life.
It brings me joy to see individuals overcome obstacles that prevent them from being their authentic selves.
I know what it's like to have a number from the penal system and continuously strive to overcome the shame, guilt, embarrassment, and stigma that going to prison attaches. It's very tough to reintegrate and hold your head up while fighting all of the systems designed to oppress you. The more I see and learn about the trauma the family faces also, the more I have a burning desire to advocate for the oppressed. From experience I know how hard it is to piece your life back together, which is a never ending story. To fall at times, but to never give up.
PPPP will be a unique reentry program for former, incarcerated loved ones and their families. Although it's been decades since I've been incarcerated, it's still very clear the looks, the gossiping, the doors shut in my face, and the mistrust from my family. This is why I do what I do.
PPPP is what our community needs for those who are reintegrating and I cannot wait to provide supportive services; educate and provide information regarding civic engagement and unite incarcerated loved ones and their families to the community. That is the missing element.
THIS IS WHY I DO WHAT I DO,
And I need others to join me.
It's such a blessing to have eyes that see everyone as valuable. Even the alcoholic sleeping under the bridge ❤❤❤❤
The fight doesn't stop!💪🏽🙏🏽❤️
