🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟

I am thrilled to share that I have officially launched my campaign for the presidency of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI). As Chairman and CEO of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, and a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, I am honored to embark on this incredible journey.

With over thirty years of experience in Tribal administration, economic development, community development, and elected leadership, I am committed to representing the needs and voices of all tribal nations. Together, we will prioritize supporting Tribal women and youth, protecting our sacred lands and waterways, and upholding the vital treaty rights that unite us.

The election will take place during NCAI's 80th Annual Convention and Marketplace in New Orleans, Louisiana, from November 12 - 17, 2023. This transition of leadership from the extraordinary President Fawn Sharp is a pivotal moment for NCAI, an organization that has served as the backbone of support for tribal governments and communities since its founding in 1944.

Beyond a campaign, this is a powerful movement that will unite tribal nations, secure a brighter future for generations, and drive the overall progress of indigenous communities nationwide. Together, we are building a force that transcends boundaries, embracing the rich diversity of our tribal nations and fostering unity. Through our collective efforts, we will create lasting change and leave a remarkable legacy for the generations yet to come.

Indian Country is in need of a visionary leader who can articulate the true needs of all tribal nations and can create the climate to take full advantage of the unprecedented opportunities available to our tribal communities now. I humbly ask for your support and encourage you to join me on this journey as we forge a path of progress, resilience, and collective empowerment. Together, we will create a new narrative—one that celebrates our heritage, strengthens our communities, and paves the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. Stay tuned for updates as we make history together! It’s our time to rise!

Tunica-Biloxi Industries is now live!

Tunica-Biloxi Industries, LLC, or "TBI" is the holding entity for the government contracting enterprises owned and operated by the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana. We are managed by the Tunica-Biloxi Economic Development Authority or "TBEDA".

What is the TBEDA? The Tunica-Biloxi Economic Development Authority (EDA) serves as the business development arm of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana with the primary objective of expanding and diversifying the economic base and financial interests of the tribe while ensuring the well-being of both tribal members and the local community.

What does TBI do? Headquartered in Marksville, LA on the Tunica-Biloxi Reservation, TBI serves as a holding company with multiple operating subsidiaries engaged in several lines of business for both the federal government and commercial enterprises. Government Contracting is when businesses enter into contracts for services with local, state, federal and even other Tribal Governments. This is especially beneficial for Tribes in remote locations like Tunica-Biloxi because it grants them access to new markets without the need for a large work force.Tunica-Biloxi Services, LLC is a subsidiary of TBI that has received its 8(a) certification as of February 2023.
