Acts of vandalism and crime won't obtain the results we want, nor will screaming and yelling on the internet and calling names, few of the methods sometimes used to bring attention to a cause.
My belief in any battle is that we need to keep the capability of participating to the communication, the voting process, and decision making while behaving in a way that attracts more people instead of alienating them from our cause.
We need to present information, provide a constructive solution to the problem and change our lives to portray the concepts and changes we want to see in the world.
I am all for less carbon fuel, for more MPAs, for fresh water table conservation, less plastic pollution, sharks and marine animals well being, but it needs to be done involving all parties, especially the ones we are trying to convince to move towards change of what is currently considered common and legal practice.
Because let's not forget, as long as it's legal, our adverse acts will be considered a crime, while our focus is to make the actions we want to stop, the illegal ones.
If possible, it’s best for your cats and the environment to keep your cats indoors or at least in something like this.

The Cool Story Behind the Invention of Iced Tea
Long before air conditioning was a thing, there was a refreshing solution to beat the summer heat - iced tea. But who deserves credit for this ingenious beverage? Let’s dive into the cool history of how iced tea came to be.
Legend has it that iced tea was first concocted during the scorching summer of 1904 at the St. Louis World’s Fair. Richard Blechynden, a tea merchant, was facing a dilemma. Visitors to his exhibit were passing up hot tea in favor of cold drinks due to the sweltering weather. Determined to entice parched fair-goers, Blechynden poured his brewed tea over ice, creating a refreshing and innovative beverage – iced tea.
While this tale is widely accepted, the true origins of iced tea are a bit murkier. Evidence suggests that iced tea may have been enjoyed earlier in the southern United States, where cold tea was a popular choice, particularly in regions with hot, humid summers.
According to some accounts, iced tea gained popularity in the late 19th century when American planters, seeking relief from the heat, began chilling their hot tea with ice. This practice quickly caught on, becoming a staple refreshment in the American South.
Regardless of its precise origins, iced tea has become an iconic beverage enjoyed around the world. Its versatility allows for endless variations, from classic sweet tea in the South to fruity iced teas and exotic blends.
Today, iced tea remains a beloved summer staple, offering a cool respite from the sweltering heat. Whether you prefer it sweetened or unsweetened, flavored or plain, one thing is certain – the invention of iced tea was a stroke of refreshing genius.
