Sunday School (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd) | The CGS program year begins on September 15th @ 9:00 a.m. The CGS classes are available for children from age 3 through 5th grade. Weaving God’s Promises (Middle School) | This scripture-based program is designed specifically for Middle School aged youth (6th through 8th grades) or those preparing for confirmation. Our program year begins on September 15th @ 9:00 a.m., meeting in Father Rodney’s office.

Thank you to all who donate regularly to help keep our Little Pantry stocked. As the pantry is emptied daily, it requires a lot of resources to maintain! Currently, we are in need of spaghetti sauce, crackers, paper towels, tissues, dollar store items, such as shampoo, toothpaste, Q-tips, deodorant, dishwashing soap, small laundry detergents. Thank you!

This Sunday we are collecting donations for Cecil and Grace Bean's

August has arrived, and with it the imminent start of the school year. Students and teachers, please bring your school bags to services on August 25th for a special blessing for the upcoming year.

St. Matthew’s parishioners are longtime supporters of Mattie Dixon Food Cupboard, and we thank you for all your past support! Unfortunately, food insecurity remains a critical issue. The Cupboard’s greatest needs right now are for: baby food, coffee, juice & juice boxes, cooking oils, salad dressing, mayonnaise, taco kits, canned pineapple, BBQ sauce, ketchup, ramen noodles, vinegar, strawberry jelly, bleach, cat food, dog food, hand soap, kitchen trash bags, tissues, laundry detergent, and Poise pads. Offerings can be placed in bins located outside the kitchen or narthex doors. They do NOT need the following: cereal, canned veggies, tuna, peanut butter, soup.

We are once again partnering with St. John’s Church to provide school supplies in support of the students at Davenport Elementary School (formerly Gotwals) in Norristown. Items needed are on flyers in the narthex, and on our website. Please bring in your donations no later than Sunday, August 11th. Donations can be placed in the marked bin outside the kitchen, and we will deliver them to St. John’s.
