We’re having a coaches meeting tonight at 8:00. If anyone is interested in volunteering, feel free to show up. If you’re interested in coaching and can’t make it tonight, reach out to us and let us know

It is with a very heavy heart that I must inform everyone that wrestling suffered a huge loss today with the passing of Sean Felkins. For those that are new to the organization, you may not recognize him as he hasn’t been around as much this past season; but for those who have been with us for awhile, you have undoubtedly seen him Reffing matches, joking with coaches, and even wrestling around with the kids on the mat. Sean was in charge of booking referees and has been a ref for almost 30 years. Many of our coaches have had the honor of having Sean ref our matches when we were in high school. Meets will not be the same without him. Sean truly cared for our kids and always had their best interest in mind. Despite his cancer diagnosis, Sean continued to stay involved with wrestling and he fought to give our kids the best time he could, all while fighting his own, much more serious battle. And he did it all with a smile on his face because he loved what he did, he loved the sport, and he loved the kids. Today, we lost a great ref, a great man, and a great ambassador for the sport that we all love. our condolences go out to his family and friends.

We have joined up with a township organization for fundraising. All proceeds get divided evenly between all organizations. This is the first fundraiser. Anyone who wants to purchase tickets or wants to try to sell them, you can reach out to one of the coaches for tickets. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This how how we keep the cost for parents so low during the season
