What a fun activity to do on a lazy day to breakup the boredom!!! . . . #Repost @skillmatics ・・・ 🍿💃😎 We’re dancing into the long weekend with this fun experiment from @inspired_little_learners. You’ll Need 1️⃣ Jar or glass 2️⃣ Water 3️⃣ Baking soda 4️⃣ Popcorn kernels* - @inspired_little_learners died the popcorn kernels for some added fun 5️⃣ White vinegar Next: Add 1.5 cups of water and 1TBSP of baking soda to a jar before adding 1/4 C popcorn kernels. Slowly add vinegar and the popcorn kernels will “dance!” 🙌 👩‍🔬 @inspired_little_learners explains, “The kernels ‘dance’ because the chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar produces carbon dioxide bubbles in the water. The bubbles attach to the kernels and carry them to the surface of the water.
