Fall is basically here and that means cooler weather and more outdoor activities. @_georgia_hikes_ shares some great spots across GA to take the family! Have you been to any of these places? Do you have a favorite hiking spot or hidden gem? Share it in the comments! I’ll share one— Cave Spring, GA is a great little town with a natural spring you can drink from and get drinking water to take home. Bring a jug or two! You can even explore the natural cavern that the spring flows through for only $1 (at least that was the price when we went). There is also a spring-feed swimming hole, ice cream parlor, fudge shop, coffee shop, historical church you can tour, a small museum, and a couple of great restaurants and shops. It’s definitely an easy day trip!

Tips & Tricks Tuesday! Struggling to find fun and engaging ways to reinforce early elementary math skills at home? Subtraction can be a hard concept to grasp. Try this fun activity!! 💇♀️Not only does it reinforce math skills but it also helps them work on their fine motor cutting skills. ✂️ And trust me, that’s an important skill, too! If you try this out, let me know how it went. It’s things like this that make my teacher heart happy! ➡️➡️ This activity teaches the concept of subtraction to children so well! Children cut away the number of strips according to the simple subtraction equation, and see that subtraction simply means taking away! Happy Tot Shelf - Raising Happy Learners
👉🏻 Recommended for 3 to 6yo.
👉🏻 For 3 to 4yo, write numbers and have the children cut away the number of strips of sticky note.
👉🏻 For the older 5 to 6yo, write simple subtraction problems.

It was a Happy Easter and a beautiful day to celebrate our Savior’s resurrection! ✝️☀️ The kids had a blast hunting eggs on the front lawn, too! Here’s a video of all the action and some of your photos I snagged off fb! 😉
Palm Sunday! 🌿 Hosanna (save us!), Hosanna in the highest! Today our kids got to re-enact this very important and meaningful story about Jesus and his triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
