I honor my spirit and trust my vibes

Daily Mantra

𝐼 𝒶𝓂 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓃𝓀𝒻𝓊𝓁 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝐼 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒.

These rock sculptures are so facinating to me. This tradition of stone stacking is used in spiritual practice, or in memory of an event, person, place. Some also stack stones and make a wish or manifestation. When my son was about 5 months old I had gone to Aruba and on this one cliff, there was nothing but stacked stones everywhere. It was truly breathtaking. Pretty cool thinking back 9 years later if Peyton’s life has altered course due to the wish I made when I stacked my stones in Aruba that day.

My goal is to take peyton hiking and teach him the practice behind this tradition. I’ve been reading and listening to Podcasts about manifestation lately. I think it would be cool for us to set a goal of what we want the next year, then go back after we achieve our goals. 😊

Have any of you done this? What did you do it for? Can’t wait to hear all your responses !

Daily Mantra

I am stronger than my excuses.

I am the master of excuses, it’s one of my many flaws. I guess I wouldn’t say excuses, but procrastination. I will avoid and put things off until I’m down to the very last second. It’s always gone pretty well for me, in fact, whether it’s a fluke or a mental defect, I score significantly higher on things I do at the last minute, or tasks I complete quickly.

So this worked for me until I was in my career, and in grad school , and a single mom. Procrastinating started causing me overwhelming anxiety and those deadlines got closer and closer to either being barely met or not being met. I started researching a lot about time management, took a few personality quizzes, came up with something that resembled a plan. It’s a work in progress…. I mean, Im creating writing this almost 5 hours before it’s scheduled to post….. that’s progress right 🤷🏼‍♀️

And why would I pack my sons bag tonight when I have all morning?…….. the bigger question is how many times will I hit snooze in a few hours.

🌱I hope you all have a fantastic day, and find inspiration that builds your strength to tackle the days challenges.

Daily Mantra

𝕀 𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕨 𝕦𝕡.

Showing up can look so different every day depending on challenges you are facing during that time. To some, showing up is creating something brilliant, or receiving a promotion, personal success. To others showing up, could be being able to have the opportunity to spend time with your child, or going in to work when you really wanted to call off, pushing through when you feel like reclusing or giving up, or forcing yourself to attend a meeting when you could easily find 10 valid excuses not to go. And to some, showing up can be as simple as getting out of bed and showering, when you would rather stay in bed, or looking up resources about addiction, rather than ignoring it as a problem, to finally mustering up the will and the courage to reach out for help and admit you can’t do it alone and your powerless over your addiction. Showing up is showing up, tangible success does not make showing up count more.

No matter what your “showing up” looks like, we see you, and admire your resiliency and your determination to build a strong foundation rooted in discipline, responsibility, moral character, self-esteem and hope for the future.

How did you show up today?

🍃Daily Mantra🍃

Life will always throw situations at you that you can’t control. BUT, what you can control is your mindset during those situations. Starting this foundation has had its challenges, and we have had to constantly remind ourselves of the big picture. Doing this we were able do look at the negatives objectively and turn them in to positivity-oriented solutions. It’s not easy, but the more you put yourself in that mindset, the more natural it feels.

We hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Recovery services is an area that someone in recovery can excel at. You are a walking success story, a beacon of hope, proof that you can change your life and change your story! You are a guide, full with a wealth of knowledge to help others suffering with addiction. You can relate, share what helped you through your challenges in recovery. A professional education alone cannot teach you the same lessons that life experience teaches.

Don’t forget a sponsor is only the first step in learning from someone in recovery…

With change comes opportunity.

Think about and take advantage of all of the opportunities that a changing season brings to your psychological and physical health and well-being. As we move from these cold frigid months to these restorative spring months, think about ways you can use this changing season of your life to provide opportunities for personal growth and building roots.

☀️Good Morning! For the next 22 days, we will be posting a daily mantra to jump-start our day. Regardless of where we are at in our lives, focusing on a daily mantra provides a daily reminder to see the positive sides of life and its many experiences.

It is difficult to grow strong roots in a negative environment. Something as simple as a daily mantra can really shift your mindset to bigger and brighter things and add positivity to your environment and will enable you to grow strong foundational roots. The Omnia Foundation incorporates daily mantras and mindfulness in our approach to recovery. Each recovery residence will have a daily mantra to help our residents jumpstart their day with a positive focus.

🌿What is a mantra?
- Mantras are words or sounds that can be recited mentally whenever you need to distract yourself away from stress or difficult situations.

🌿How can I use the daily mantra in my life?
- If using to jumpstart your day, read The Omnia Foundations or any other daily mantra in the morning, and repeat it silently before leaving bed for the day. Continue to repeat for 2 to 3 minutes, harnessing positive energy as you go. Some daily mantras may be short and concise but repeating one word or phrase can make a marked difference in your day.
- We recommend using the daily mantra as a daily journal prompt, although all you need to do is simply read the mantra, focus on its meaning to you, and use it to draw positivity throughout your day.

Don’t take our word for it! Try it out for yourself!

Please feel free to share how the daily mantra impacted your day, your perspective on the daily mantra and what it means to you.

We look forward to engaging with our supporters the next 22 days!

🌿Let’s build our roots, together🌿

We are The Omnia Foundation. Our mission is to provide a structured, drug and alcohol-free environment that provides the individual with housing and supportive services to help bridge the gap between acute inpatient treatment, and prolonged recovery in the community.

The Omnia Foundation believes that the individual will build strong recovery roots when equipped with the tools needed to achieve stable employment, housing, and relapse prevention strategies.

The Omnia Foundation is at the start of its journey. We currently have a property located in Canton, OH, that will offer recovery residence to 6 adult males. We are planning to have the home completed and ready by the middle of the summer. We wanted to include everyone on our journey to make our mission and vision a reality. We thank everyone for their continued support while we build The Omnia Foundation’s roots.

The Omnia Foundation is dedicated to supporting the individuals prolonged recovery by offering the following services:

Recovery Housing
Residences will be categorized so that individual placement is as conducive as possible to the individual’s recovery goals.

Case Management
Emphasis on obtaining the documents needed to gain employment. (Social security card, birth certificate, driver’s license). Assistance with employment through relationships with local businesses who support The Omnia Foundation’s mission and goals.

Support Groups
Free support groups held in the community, with a wide variety of topics including trauma, loss, addiction, domestic violence, etc.

Throughout our journey, we will be providing information about topics surrounding addiction & MAT, recovery stories, graphic design competitions, and surveys. We will also be periodically providing information about our founders and their “why”, video walk-throughs of remodeling progress for the recovery house, and most importantly, community resources for crisis situations, and treatment options.

Again, we thank everyone for their continued support while we build The Omnia Foundation’s roots.
