Today, we pause to reflect on the 60th anniversary of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, a day forever marked in history by the loss of four beautiful souls: Denise McNair, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, and Carole Robertson.

Their memory fuels our unwavering commitment to a future where unity and progress triumph over hate and division. As the District Attorney for Jefferson County's 10th Judicial Circuit, Bessemer, I stand resolute in this pursuit.

Let us honor these young lives by forging a path forward, united in the pursuit of justice and equality.
