What a blast our first event was! We appreciate everyone that came out and competed, everyone of you did an incredible job! We thank you for trusting the vision we at SandlotKingz have for our events, and we want to say a special thanks to everyone that helped put this thing together! We couldn't have done it without you!

We strive to do the best we can but also understand with this being our first event there will be kinks.

🚨⚠️R U L E B R E A K D O W N⚠️🚨

💥There will be 3 Rounds. Round 1, the batters will receive 2 1/2 minutes to hit as many home runs over the fence as they can, while also having the chance to hit 1 of the 7 targets at the "players positions" throughout the field to which they'll win the prizes attached to them. Contestants must wait to hit a ball, until the one before has landed. The second round, the contestants will be minimized down to half from the first round, and batters will be given 3 minutes to hit as many home runs over the fence as they can. The championship round will be between the last two standing contestants that after adding up all their home runs, have added up to be the two most valued hitters. They will have 3 minutes each to bash it out for the win.

💥The winner of the SandlotKingz Open Home-Run Derby will win a cash prize between $300 and $500, this is depending on the outcome of contestants. They, as well as all the contestants, will also have the chance to walk away with any of the prizes from the targets hit during their at bats. He or she will also be given a bid to the end of the year SandlotKingz Ultimate Open Home-Run Derby Championship where the cash prize is $1000, and all the clout for being the SandlotKingz Open Home Run Derby Champion, will be theirs!!

💥The event will cost $85 per contestant. You will receive a SandlotKingz T- shirt, a 1 minute 4k slow motion video montage of your performance to post for all your buddies to see, a hotdog/burger, drink, and peanuts or sunflower seeds.

💥During round 1 and ONLY round 1, each contestant will have the chance to win cash prizes that are attached to targets and their frames at every fielder's position, except for home plate and the pitcher's mound. The prizes attached to the targets at the fielders position's will be valued at $100 each!

💥The Home Run Derby itself, will last around three hours. There will be 30-40 contestants and only 1 champion. The fences will be 260ft in the corners and 325ft in Centerfield. Each contestant will have the choice to use a SandlotKingz in house pitcher ( Collegiate Caliber) or a pitcher of their choosing. All pitchers MUST throw overhand. The SandlotKingz Open Home-Run Derby will be open to All AGES.

💥We strongly advise that all contestants bring their own bat and also use age/game appropriate bats. Wood bats will be provided for contestants to use if one is needed.

💥If there is a tie within any round of the Home-Run derby between any two or more contestants, the contestant with more targets hit than the others will move on to the next round. If none of these contestants have hit a Target, then those contestants will battle it out in a one for one swing off.
