Definitely been lagging on posting here again, (9 videos behind) but I've been very busy.. I officially started an LLC for my new business "Champions Journey Fitness LLC." I have combined offering Basketball Training and Massage along with Personal Training having just re-started my ACSM certication by passing the test a second time on March 7th. All the way back on February 16th was the shopping cart hook shot. Originally took a while for me to think of how to do that safely with the proper movement to avoid injury, but it worked well. Isabel was a great assist in this one. The day after February 17th I got more assistance and teamwork with Kerri and Donna twirling the rope and the whole family (8) was there for the underhand jump rope shot. I always appreciate the support. February 25th I did tricep pushups balancing on 3 weight plates. The only thing I could have improved would be legs straighter to engage the core a little more, but it had been a little while since I last did it. Many balance exercises are great at engaging the core.

Last two shot videos here. January 20th I revisited with the medicine ball for a lateral angle underhand medicine ball shot. Since I always find variation upon variation, there will be more medicine ball shot fun to look forward to in the future. Blindfolded, other lateral different style shots. Just depends on what my mood is next time I'm feeling it's time to play with the medicine ball again. Speaking of variations, one simple adjustment can give me over 100 new shot videos. January 27th I did my second one left hand with this backwards shot. I could literally try to do all shots I've done with my left non dominant hand. That as well as mixing in new challenges, lateral shots, my blindfold should keep me going a long time and keep things fresh. It was an eventful last three days for videos. Nice to have a little time off that worked out to get assistance with video angles. December 30th I went far lateral for a standing hook shot. In 2023 on August 14th I set the longest underhand basketball shot blindfolded record. 2024 it is my goal to break the record for longest standing hook shot in which the current record is 80 feet. To be clear this shot was not 80 feet. Yet I am considering based on how things go with court configurations either striving for the hook shot angle further laterally or straight on. God knows the future. His plan will be revealed in time. December 31st Isabel got a chance to join the hashtag blindfolded hook shot on a beautiful day in McKinney. She has been working toward acclimating with her basketball team at school as well as studies of course. I'm sure she will do well in both regards as well as get some more videos this year. Yesterday January 1st I did what might appear to be an easier shot by my standards. That said, with no props or obstacles my shot was left hand which is a first for me. I recently tried traditional 3's prior to this shot, but it was my first time trying underhand lefty style. Took a bit to acclimate but I eventually got it. Merry Christmas Eve!! As previously mentioned there would be a reel this weekend. We have had some special visitors the last few weeks. December 9th Santa visited the first time. He gave himself the gift of rollerblades as he's and decided to use it for his lateral underhand rollerblading shot. The reindeer were in the middle of an intense workout, so Santa took some time to stay active himself. December 16th my good friend Frosty came all the way down from Michigan. We didn't realize it was a little warm at 41 degrees for him. It was easier for him to join my hashtag hook shot knees since it was difficult to stand. Fortunately he's an awesome shooter and made the shot quickly, allowing him to be on the way back to his natural environment in Michigan. He also made hook shot knees from further than I have on the court. Yesterday Santa came back one more time before the big night. He was doing some last minute Christmas shopping with his Elves. He got them both Christmas presents with basketballs. Santa wanted to use his right away. He stepped up and made his underhand shopping cart shot and gave his Elves a mini ride as well. A New Years resolution of mine is to keep up posting my videos on this page. Starting a little early with the resolution today. There will be another three shot reel to catch up this weekend. November 18th I did a lateral angle underhand shot from off the court. Went beyond the court to make it more of a challenge, but it didn't take long at all. November 23rd I was blessed to visit our hometown Ann Arbor, Michigan with my family. Found Allmendinger Park so I could do a underhand blindfolded skip bo turkey head shot. December 3rd I introduced my blindfolded hula-hoop hook shot. Video glitch caused not getting the third angle the first time at Inspiration Park. While I normally post multiple shots on reels, this deserves it's own. As of two days ago November 28th, I'm proud to say my record title for longest underhand blindfolded shot from August 14th is now verified and official!! I got a confirmatory email this morning and saw the in portal that I am official as well. The other two record titles you can see pictured on the right I am still working on. Both I still need more distance. Been totally currently focused on the backwards knees one. Currently have come a foot short on my best ever throw according to a witness, but still short and not there yet. Giving myself 1-2 months to start making that shot. If not, I will move on to what's actually standing hook shot as counter suggested by Guiness and accepted by myself. There is one other I know I can make now for longest blindfolded hook shot. That one is a long term project though because I want to work to see what I can do with the other two first. All Glory to God as always, he gives me all strength and capability to do anything. These two bring videos totally up to date. October 30th was the Gorilla's third and last of three shots. He got this standing backwards shot that day to share on Halloween due to our family schedules. Upon completion, he was very happy to be rewarded with bananas. It was definitely well deserved after the hard work and effort shown over the prior three weeks. Yesterday was our 100th video since beginning recording in August of 2022. I dedicate this shot to Isabel who had basketball tryouts at her school last week and made the team. Now with future shots a new wave is starting. For the next 100, there will be more lateral shots such as this lateral angled hook shot. I of course have done blindfolded shots and am waiting sometime this month for my underhand blindfolded shot to be verified by Guiness World Record's. (Evidence gathered August 14th) There will be more blindfolded shots in the next 100 though as well as some complete new challenges sprinkled in here and there. Now that I caught up I will stay on task. October 1st Haley sinks a post 15th birthday backwards knees shot. Even though she now plays JV softball at her high school and basketball is not her specialty, the form and sail of her shot was awesome. October 5th I reincarnated the stability ball yet again for a unblindfoled and blindfolded stability ball bounce shot. Just a feeling that the stability ball still may continue to live on in some way and you may see it again in the future. October 9th I finished medicine ball part 4. Traditional, backwards, hook and now underhand. Similar to stability ball, I'm sure it's not over. Multiple props can be used, I can train other people, or there's also different angles/challenging myself years down the road when I'm older. There is always an innovative way. Since October is Halloween month, starting next week there will be a special guest appearance once a week for three weeks with the last one on Halloween. More catching up. September 21st I made a backwards half court stilt shot Wanted to do both stilts as I think that would actually make it a little more challenging, but I was walking around leisurely on the stilts not playing basketball prior and a screw popped out that we weren't able to find. Will have to settle for the single stilt shot. September 23rd and regularly I am now working on building distance for breaking the backwards knees Guiness World Record. This shot would need about 6 feet more with all requirements in place. I am now pushing out slow but sure aiming to officially try by hopefully by the end of the year. Waiting on my underhand blindfolded shot to be reviewed with Guiness in Mid-November from making that shot for with all requirements in place August 14th. After the knees one if and when that happens I work on either the standing hook shot or standing blindfolded hook shot next. Later that day September 23rd, someone attempted poisoning me and I had a health scare. I stayed tough, worked past it through the grace of God, and made my next video September 28th with a skip bo hook shot. Another 3 shot reel to stay up to date. Lateral underhand shot from off the court is from August 31st. It was my second off the court shot. The first one was a hook shot from just beyond length of this court. Isabel nailing 4 straight 3's is from the morning of September 2nd. It was right before we watched the Michigan football team get a season opening win against East Carolina. Isabel has the goal of attending and playing basketball at the University of Michigan, so it was fitting for the timing of her video. First though we are looking forward to the her playing at the school she attends in 7th grade this year. Underhand blindfolded stability ball shot is from Labor Day, September 4th. I have done a lot of stability ball shots, but I hadn't done underhand unblindfoled. I skipped that one going straight to blindfolded for two reasons. First I knew Christ would strengthen me, as he always has with any shots I've made. Next is I wanted to increase the challenge to honor the hard working laborers that helped our country. Signed up for my first tough mudder yesterday. Doing a combination of strength exercises and extra cardio for the next few weeks to prepare. Here I am doing a set of hack squats at 315 for 8. To get the best contraction start at the lowest possible squat position.
