Two preschool piano camps in full-swing this week! Campers are learning rhythm patterns, dynamics, and piano keys through an animal Safari theme. 😍🦒🦓🐘

Preschool Piano Camp #1 is done! Ready for two more groups at the end of July. 😁
Each student completed a music theory activity booklet and learned the white key songs from Piano Safari Friends.
We explored:
• Grand piano pedals & soundboard
• Black key groups & white key names
• Pitch & dynamics
• Animal rhythm patterns
• Hand shape & finger numbers
Chopin Waltz in B Minor, Op. 69 No. 2 — Played by K, age 12.
Mozart Minuet in F Major K. 5, played by J, age 7. :)
I’ll be sharing a few recital highlights over the next few days!

• 25 prepping for our studio recital in June.

So grateful for a full and happy performance day yesterday!
Two students played in the RMTA Fall Festival/Competition. Both earned Superior+ scores, and one came away with an honorable mention trophy. 🥹🏆
