this post is kind of a resurfacing and a goodbye all tied in to one. i have been feeling the tug at my heart to step away from this little shop to allow myself to give more to the areas that are calling me to invest more in at this time. so, i decided to test it out and take a little break after the holidays and see if this was truly what i was meant to do at this time and it wasn’t just burnout from the holiday hustle. after two months of more solid investment in those areas i felt called to, it feels right. i am so grateful for the support each of you have gifted me over these last two years, and while i don’t think this is a forever goodbye, it’s a long winded break for now. meadow & oak will not disappear, but will rebirth in the future in some capacity—what that will be, i’m not sure yet. but i am still excited for what will come! thanks for being on this journey with me, and i hope we will run into each other again soon. sending you all love. 🫶🏻

i always, ALWAYS find myself coming up with my favorite styles in the time crunch before a market. these little fellas have a flock of different colors and styles that will all be a part of my holiday launch tomorrow at holiday market. hoping i will see you there!

i traveled to india when i was 14 with my best friend and her family. it was hands down one of the most life changing experiences of my life! every since then i have been so drawn to indian textiles. i stumbled upon some recycled sari silk last year and without creative direction bought all the colors i loved, hoping to make something of it. it took some time to create a style that fit my vibe, but i love the simplicity of these knotted triangles. i am working on new styles for the future, but for now, you can find these in the shop in a wide variety of colors!

each of these little lines were carved by hand after curing—i love how organic they turned out.

bonus note: these will style perfectly for the transition to fall. 🍂

i have been spending more time in the sun than in my studio lately—but i have lots on my brain that i can’t wait to bring to life. first on my list as i prep the online shop for new styles is more quartz crystals. which style do you prefer? 1, 2 or 3?

the spring market collection hitting the shop tomorrow will include a small number of *NEW* styles of the x collection. these new styles are made of polymer clay (not vegan leather!) using the new transfer technique i learned recently.

i have been thinking up a way to make a mommy & me set, so i tested my idea out at this past weekend and while no one purchased a complete “set” these tiny flowers were definitely a hit. the hoops are intended for mommy (or any mommy figures!) and the clip on tiny dangle posts are intended for a mini me. would you guys like to see them be added to the shop? in the options of individual purchases and set purchases? i’d love your feedback!

yesterday i was back creating with my favorite artists! 💙 and during our time together at they created the most beautiful masterpieces! i CANNOT wait to share them with you all, along with all the exciting details surrounding the new collection. eekk!! i can’t wait!!

this weekend i was able to sneak a date night in with my forever valentines. we don’t get out often, but when we do, we both lay out our outfits side by side on our bed. (we get a little excited when we have the opportunity to dress up more than our daily uniforms. 😂) this is what I wore, down to the earrings. the little details always help to complete an outfit!
