This is the latest scam targeting Lawn Care Professionals. You receive a text asking for an estimate on a home for sale for 6 months service. You provide estimate and are told that payment will be sent out for all six months. You are then told there will be extra money sent in this case for flooring materials. You are asked to redirect money for that service which ends up being the scam. Luckily I was already suspicious and was not going to perform any services until check was received and cleared the bank. So I am only out time and gas money. We will require phone and not text communication for future estimates.
