The local news outlet posted another photo of Tess holding on tight to that sheep at our May rodeo!! She actually tied for second place and only the top two qualify for the county fair - and she lost the coin flip! But she lost to a really cute little cowboy we know and when I told her she said βThatβs ok. The sheep will be bigger in July at the next rodeo. I can handle the big sheep so itβs better Brix got it in May.β I think sheβs just excited about the challenge of riding again! There are two more local rodeos she can compete in if she gets entered so two more chances to qualify for mutton busting at the county fair. And sheβs determined. One of our retreat guests asked her this weekend if she wanted to be a rancher when she grows up and she said βyeah, but Iβm really focusing on mutton busting right now.β π€ π€ π€ π€ π€ photo credit πΈ John Rogers
