Happy holidays, my friends. I wanted to invite folks to the December First-Wednesday residence show at The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint on Dec. 6th going from 6 to 8:30 PM. I have spent an excessive amount of time working on grants to fund my artist habit and the Down By Riverside, Inc. non-profit. As a fun break, I played with Photoshop! I have to mention that Andy Bradwin is tearing it up in kitchen. I just love his food!

A very cool and notable perk of this show is that Mike Sax will be bringing his BASS SAX which is even cooler than BARI SAX (which he is also bringing...)

Rick Forzese will be playing drums!

My voice is very deep and resonant these days. I am comfortable singing low C currently. I am headed to an ENT to determine if puberty finally set in or something else is going on. 😁😁😁

Next week on Wednesday at 6 PM I am back at The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint with Tony Savarino and Marco Giovino with Coywolf Johnson. It's a free show that is really enough to bring the kids. Speaking of kids, I let my kids do this to my hair. I am a good sport.

Earlier this month, we started the monthly Coywolf residency The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint with 6 spirituals. My incredibly talented wife, Laura Rótolo led our children, Lucia and Magdalena, on some of the songs. The "family band" has always been a dream, so this was really emotional for me.

Coywolf Johnson is starting a new residency at The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint on 1st Wednesdays. The shows will be free and starting at 6 PM. This first one is going to start off with a Spiritual Sing. I am inviting some musician friends and family to join the band on the stage. I will provide lyric sheets for the audience that wants to join in with us.

For me, singing spirituals (or even just listening) makes me feel connected with something bigger than myself. Part of it is the connection with the people with whom I am singing, but I feel connected to all the other people who sang those songs in history.

Tonight is the Night! Coywolf Johnson's debut at at 9 PM just after Chris Hersch and The MoonRaiders play from 6-8:30 for free during dinner. Tickets are $12. We have t-shirts for sale for $20/25.

The show is a Proof of Vaccination show and masks are required. The Porch is a huge open space with 19 foot ceilings and MERV 14 filters on an over-powered 2-year old HVAC system. The capacity is 325 and we are expecting no more than 75 people.

The kitchen at the Porch closes at 9, so if you want to eat dinner, please make a reservation for a table to make it easier on the staff. Reservations create certainty and promote calm happy restaurant folk.

Coywolf Johnson is doing a run of T-Shirts in anticipation for our debut club show at the Porch on Jan 8th at 9 PM. I am taking pre-orders to make sure that I get the correct sizes for everyone. The shirts will be black Gildan shirts with white ink. This logo and coywolf image is the design that will be on the shirt.

For pre-order, shirts will be $15 except the ladies scoop neck which will be $20. Please direct message me and I can send you an invoice to pay via credit card. Getting the shirt to you depends on where you are. I will distribute shirts at the show, I can deliver locally and I can mail them out in priority envelopes for $10.
