Sometimes fast isn’t pretty, but when it’s clean it’ll do just fine!! KG Jukebox Hero ran a 15.298 the first round of VGBRA to set himself up for 3rd in the maturity round, 4th in the open (out of 542 runs) and a solid time to end up placing in the derby average. When it was all said and done he ended up 2nd in the Future Fortunes sidepot, won the Top Shelf Breeders and Triple Crown and hopefully the Diamond Classic - and took home $7600 for the weekend!! We are now officially into breeding season here at Nine Oh! We are shipping on the studs and have contracts available - don’t miss out !
It was a good weekend for KG horses at the VGBRA Barrel Daze!! Skye Miller and KG Shock N Awe placed in both rounds and was reserve champion in the Futurity to take home over $8420! Shocker is owned by Viki Freidrich and Pandy Peters - longtime Nine Oh supporters 💜 KG Shock N Awe is by Feel The Sting out of KG Justiceweexpected. They have been on a roll!
We normally don’t share hit barrels - but KG JukeBox Hero is trying his heart out no matter what!! Catching 1st in the first round of the Sand Cup Derby and a barrel to place 3rd at the Redmond, OR Pro Rodeo cost the duo about $5k this weekend 😖 but we all know it happens - and they are going to be back at it this weekend at VGBRA!
