The Camaro is not happy. Something is up with the Holley Sniper efi. I'm guessing it is the 02 sensor. 🤞
Getting rid of the vertical gas tank on vic chassis to make the bed hump on the f100 as small as possible. Went with this sweet aeromotive tank with a 340 lph fuel pump for a 69 mustang. I went with this tank because I want to drive this truck on road courses and track days and I don't want it to shut off everytime I take a fast turn. Kinda learned my lesson from the wifes Camaro😅
Not my prettiest work but..header clearance problem is now fixed! I officially think the engine has come out for the last time. 🤞
Anyone ever install long tubes on vic chassis with a 4 valve motor. I got these ho**er super comp header (they were free with the motor) and they hit the frame, not sure if I'll be able to bash them in enough to make them work. I'm ok with getting other headers as long as they are not $1000.
Mocking up the exhaust for the Mach 100. I'm completely fired because I'm getting so close to start the body swap.
This is far from the 1st time I have had an engine hanging from my engine hoist. I often forget that this isn't something everyone does. My neighbors must think I'm a mad scientist creating Frankensteins monster in my garage.🧟♂️ Lol
New video dropped about this car cover. My car cover had to go thru Hurricane Nicole. This is part of the aftermath. ......

Interesting article about the fast growing aftermarket EFI. It's a good read.
EFI Evolution Electronic fuel injection is more popular than ever, and manufacturers are pouring valuable resources into developing new products with more versatility, greater power potential, and added convenience. It was once thought of as the enemy—the end of racing, hot rodding, and the freedom to modify ca...

New vid fresh from the garage. This video is more informative for anyone looking to do a crown vic frame/ subframe swap. Answering the questions people keep asking over and over again.
How to Choose Donor Car for f100 Swap I cover the main differences between crown vics, Lincoln town car, and mercury grand marquis for you f100 swap. So you can make the best purchase for your build
Carb clean up from the f100. Not as bad as you would think for sitting for 5 years with out starting. Glad i did this because I would have never discovered the torn vacuum plugs on the bottom of the carb.
Checking valve to piston clearance after milling pistons.
Measuring piston to valve clearance after we cut new valve reliefs on all the pistons for the f100.
Short block is assembled for my f100! Now on to to the top end! Not going to be fun timing 4 cams
My 4v mod motor short block for my f100 is assembled!! Now the hard part the top end! Glad my brother knows what he is doing cause I have no clue on this one😅 https://youtu.be/1suZv1kqvxU

New vid just posted of me , Kim, and my brother putting together the engine for the f100. The engine took a lot of massaging to get everything to fit right. I changed up my editing style a bit on this one let me know what you think!! Don't forget to subscribe

Fun times Cheryl is broken again. I swear this car just wants to live on jack stands. Had a leak at the proportioning valve caused the master to go dry and destroyed the o rings. So out with old and in with the new. YouTube vid coming soon.
assembled one piston assembly, and 1 head with cams and everything. Checking valve to piston clearance. Want to make sure the piston doesn't hit the valves. With aftermarket cams the have more lift and duration with the combo of new pistons, taking the time to check that there is enough clearance is a must. or it will be a very expensive mistake.
give you a better look pf the difference in pistons for the mach1 mod motor. Dirty one is what came in the block factory. New to us piston is A DSS forged piston. A few grams lighter. Slight bump up in compression. Now i have to return the rings bought and get new ones for these pistons.
I bit the bullet and bought some pistons. They are not new. Bought them off of market place. They are forged and will allow me to safely push the engine to 600 HP. They did come with some h beam rods that I know nothing about so not sure which set im going to run yet, Now I have 3 sets of rods and 2 sets of pistons for 1 engine. and 2 sets of rings. there is going to be a lot of micrometer readings in my near future
My 1st time snapping rods. They came scored so they would break where they needed to break but still needed to secure the rod some how. After some internet surfing we went to Harbor Freight and picked up this wood clamp that got clamped in a vise to make sure they broke clean. Whole set up worked out really good. Now I need to make sure I don't mix these up!
new parts!! just picked up some new rods straight from ford and they were cheap. The rod on the left is the factory rod that came in the Teskid Mach1 engine. The one on the right is brand new rod from a coyote motor. Same length pin size, use the same bearings, a few grams lighter, and good up to 600hp. Which is perfect for this build. Now the question becomes should i splurge for some pistons to, because they are now the weak point in the engine. forged will put me over budget big time. they are not cheap, I still have a whole f100 to build 😬
heads going back together so we can measure valve to piston clearance when we get the bottom end together. I lucked out with the top end. The engine came with a set of aftermarket comp cams, nothing crazy but should give a nice bump in the power band. Engine also came with the comp cams, cam adjuster so we can time the cams correctly. Form factory these engines could be off as much as 8 degrees of timing from bank to bank
opened up the intake side and lapped the valves, now on to the exhaust side. Why did I choose an engine with 32 valves😅. This is a loooooong a sloooow process. I keep telling myself it will be worth it!!
not sure what to do here. As you can see there is a pretty good size diffrerence between the openeing of the exhaust ports and the gasket. Not sure if it is safe to open it up some more. What are your thoughts??? already worked the inside of the ports, smoothed out quite a bit.
