We want to thank Dr. Parker for his excellent surgical skills. Ella’s ear looks fantastic and she is recovering well. Our precious girl will soon make her way north to a wonderful home with her new mom Kala who made a donation that covered the costs of her surgery!! We are very grateful and look forward to updates from her new family!!

MEET SWEET ELLA AND PRECIOUS MARLENA
both of these precious dogs are rescued from a breeder because they needed medical care.

Sweet Ella is a one year old female French Bull Dog. She has an infection in her left ear that we can not clear with traditional treatments. She requires Total Ear Canal Ablation which will remove her ear canal and the infection. This will be done by a specialty surgeon and will have a cost of approximately $2000.

Our second pup is so sweet and so small - Marlena is 11 weeks old and has a proximal fracture of the humerus the cost for this is expected to be $4500.

CEDAR A FOUR MONTH OLD PUPPY WAS PLAYING YESTERDAY WITH HER FOSTER SISTER AND HAVING THE BEST TIME!!

Unfortunately, during their play they took a bad tumble and poor Cedar now has a Tibial Crest Avulsion. Now she needs a surgery to place two pins in order to save her leg.

If you can help us to sponsor this surgery it would mean the world. The surgery will be at County Seat Animal Hospital. Dr. Pattberg is really cutting is a great break and we expect the cost to be around $1,000.00.

What a beautiful day to deliver happiness and love to our northern adopters!! We are grateful for you choosing to adopt and not shop!!

Mai has many scars from her abuse at the hands of humans. A few months ago that ended because a special group of people spoke up. I want to thank my crew at RescueVet who didn’t give up on her and her new mom for accepting and loving her despite her flaws that make her perfectly broken.

We wish our special girl all the love and happiness with her Momma Karissa!!

These precious dogs are literally freezing in the icy conditions. RescueVet has agreed to cover the costs related to vetting them and getting them prepared for new lives.

I want to thank Brinley Thetford who risked driving in the ice to catch who she could - we have two safe with Scott Mitchell. Thank you Scott for opening your home and heart to these two pups.

What we know now is that there are at least six more that we do not have but we will not stop until they are safe.

What we need is:

Foster families for the two that we have currently and pre approved foster families for the remaining pups when we get them.

Donations to cover all costs related to their medical care, crates, food and other supportive items like treats. Our fosters will provide the love.

Foster needed for Clifford!!

This sweet guy was surrendered to a local high kill shelter along with 8 chihuahuas. Clifford needs a warm place to sleep while we find a family for him. If you are able to help please reach out as soon as possible. He has to leave the shelter as soon as possible!!

Please help us - our foster mom broke her ankle and we are way to active. We need help so badly and we are so sweet.

This week has been one heck of a week. RescueVet was able to pull sweet Tango from the urgent list at Memphis Animal Services just before euthanasia!!

Tango was moved to her foster mom’s home in Nashville and there the unimaginable happened. As her mom exited the car two stray dogs attacked our girl and she had to be rushed immediately to the emergency Veterinarian- we are so thankful for Dr. Jennifer Hultgren and her team. I am so happy to say that due to the quick action of her foster mom and the vet staff Tango will be good as new in a few weeks.

As a result of these events we incurred a very large vet bill and now will have recurring costs for follow up. If you can donate to Tango’s care please help.

Our mission in the last year has become more focused on care for dogs that are in immediate danger of euthanasia. In the last year we have successfully saved over 400 wonderful dogs from dying alone in a cold and sad shelter - with this mission there is more work than ever - WE NEED HELP.

RescueVet is working hard to support our rescue community and network. We have a very robust network of foster families and rescue partners that help us so very much. Their work is the only way we can be successful.

We at RescueVet want to thank you all so very much for your support and care for our Sweet Bonita.

I am happy to say that our special girl has now gained 30 pounds, completed her heartworm treatment and has been spayed. During her spay surgery we removed 9mm slugs from her flank.

When Bonita came to us she had never known love or life off of a chain. Her chains are now broken and she loves like there is no tomorrow.

This pup is at Memphis Animal Services and is set for euthanasia Friday if we cannot find a solution for her by Thursday at 4:00PM.

Yari is 10 months old and heartworm negative and very sweet. Yari has been living in a foster home and has been returned to the shelter through no fault of her own.
