The Realtist Week activities planned are grounded in NAREB’s intent to increase the economic futures of Black Americans, by Building Black Wealth through Homeownership. The week- long series of events are designed to reach Black residents where they live, work, socialize and worship. In addition, Realtist expect to meet with policymakers and elected officials to ensure that affordable and sustainable homeownership is supported legislatively, through regulatory or other city planning means.

NAREB Memphis seeks to increase Black Homeownership and Increase Black Wealth, while position itself as the voice for the Black Community for Real Estate in Memphis - Shelby County.

This is by no means indicates that we are ANTI ANYBODY, but we are for the BLACK COMMUNITY BUILDING ITSELF and taking care ourselves from the INSIDE OUT.

I have a dream to build 400 homes over the next 5 years. The plan is solid and my time left may be limited.

If you are a Banker and you are reading this, here is what I need from you to make this happen:

1. A Product for Buyers for Construction to Perm Loan that makes sense.

2. A Product for my builders: 75% LTV that allows the land to be used for the other 25%. We can bring the PreSell Contract with Earnest Money as the additional collateral to shore up the deal. By the way we have 30 lots that can be used as collateral as well in Qualified Census Tracts.

FYI: Our Team has a PROVEN TRACK RECORD; having built 6 out of pocket. So, remove the credit stringent requirement and take a chance based on the facts of the market.

Anyone that can do this for me can become my EXCLUSIVE BANK as this goal has more to do with creating a viable community that is steeped in prosperity beyond my needs, but for the needs of the community.

Increased housing improves the tax base, reduces homelessness, and creates opportunities for both the City of Memphis and Shelby County to do more for its citizens.
