Congratulations to the 86 graduates of the 2023 Strategic Code Enforcement Management Academy! We were honored to host these code enforcement officers and their affiliates for two days of knowledge sharing, strategy building, and networking. Safe travels, everyone!

Day 1 of the Strategic Code Enforcement Management Academy was a success! Breakout groups and presentations were rich with innovative strategies that will equip code enforcement officers with ways to better serve their communities.

We can't wait to welcome our Strategic Code Enforcement Management Academy attendees to University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law this Thursday! We'll be welcoming representatives from Birmingham, AL; Ventura, CA; St. Louis County, MO; Syracuse, NY; Cleveland, OH; Memphis, TN; Dallas, TX; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Applications are being accepted for the Memphis Heritage Trail Youth and Civil Rights Summer Camp, which provides students grades 9-12 with the opportunity to engage in intensive study and discussion of important topics and issues relative to the African American experience and the Civil Rights Movement in Memphis.
