"Why should I attend the Purple Party?"

The money we raise throughout the year and through our Purple Party Gala serves as the backbone of the services we provide the women and children who come into care. The clients we see never pay for the services they receive, and we depend on donors like you to cover these costs. Here are some average tiers that help us provide for our clients:

$30 supports one child in The Nest for one month
$50 provides one gift card for gas
$100 provides meals in Food on the Table program
$125 provides 2 weeks of household and personal care items
$175 provides 1 night of safe shelter
$225 covers one child's extracurricular activities for one semester

In addition to these services, TWAC is able to cover our clients' costs of counseling, financial coaching, and legal counsel, thanks to generous partners in our community, like yourself. In this economy, every dollar counts, and we are counting on you to help continue our work and give voice to the voiceless, and power to the powerless.

"Isolation was my abuser's primary tactic. He cut me off from friends and family, leaving me feeling completely alone and dependent on him.

The help with financial independence gave me the confidence to maintain my job and manage my finances. TWAC's family support included therapy for both me and my children. Their faith-based counseling has been instrumental in my healing process. Now, after nearly two years of TWAC's help, I'm cautiously rebuilding my social life while focusing on my job, personal growth, and strengthening my faith."
