We had a fantastic time at the Scholarship Luncheon this afternoon meeting this year’s Peyton Martin Weddle Scholarship recipient, Amia Abston. Amia is a sophomore business marketing major and is very involved on campus in several organizations and plans to enter the healthcare field of marketing.

We also got to catch up with last year’s recipient, Eli Roy. Eli is killing it in his accounting program as a soon to be senior!

We are honored to have a scholarship at UofM and to honor Peyton’s legacy in this special, impactful way 💙🐯

This morning, we chose to by donating over 500 hygiene products, socks, gloves, ponchos, and more to 💙 This is an incredible organization that supports the homeless community here in Memphis. If you’d like to learn more about Room In The Inn, visit their website at www.ritimemphis.org

Board President and VP, Dan and Oakley Weddle, had the privilege of attending the scholarship luncheon at the University of Memphis, where they celebrated scholarships such as The Peyton Martin Weddle Scholarship within the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. During the event, they had the pleasure of meeting this year's scholarship recipient, Eli Roy.

Eli is a talented undecided freshman with a keen interest in accounting and finance. He was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from Arlington High School. Eli expressed his sincere appreciation for the scholarship and is looking forward to the rest of his college experience. The Weddles were thrilled to meet Eli and are eager to stay in touch with him, watching him thrive in his academic pursuits.

We would like to express our gratitude for the generosity of all those who have contributed to the scholarship fund over the past few years. We are excited to continue our efforts in supporting students like Eli.
