I don’t know who needs to hear this but change that w4 TODAY! You’ve went half the year with 17 dependents. If you’d like to receive a refund on your taxes only carry the correct amount of dependents from today till January 1st. You’ll have a better chance and won’t need “HELP”. The W4 form has changed since last year. It’s $2000 per child so that means if you’re claiming 3 children you’d put $6000 down instead of 3 like it use to be.

Path Act :Taxpayers with EITC or ACTC will not see an update until February 15 or later. So when you go in to check Where’s my refund. You won’t get an update until then . Once again if you don’t submit all your W2’s because you want to rush and get a loan oh well 🤷🏾‍♀️! I’m not amending it for 🆓 . They’ll catch up to you at some point!!! And YES you have to file all your W2’s even if you only worked 1 month. Long as you made $600 or over you must file it.

Is what you need taken out. Not just Medicare & Social Security wages. If you don’t see federal being taken out on your paystub go back and revise your form W4. You can change this as OFTEN as needed. You shouldn’t carry more dependents on this form that you’re going to claim on your tax return.

I wish folks would stop ly ing and tell people y’all doing fraud on these tax returns! Got people’s expectations too high. And if you work an honest job I suggest u fly straight and take what you can get because once the IRS gets involved and you don’t have nothing they’re requiring of you it’s on you to prove it not the tax preparer so please be careful what you ask for. Greed will get you every time.
