It's almost here! #RedTubDay21 is tomorrow! Here's a look at the last second preparation happening as we get ready for the party tomorrow!

This week the city of Memphis has SHOWN UP! We've been getting tubs from all over the region, phone calls from friends and businesses asking how to help and volunteers giving their time to help sort through all of the tubs to get ready for #RedTubDay21 Saturday!! It's not too late to give, either! To give or get involved, go to redtubday.com today!

Why is #RedTubDay important? Troy Wallach, a foster parent in Memphis and Tammie Williams from the Department of Children's Services explain. To learn more and give toward #RedTubDay21, visit redtubday.com

From the MFCC Family to all of you and yours, a heartfelt THANK YOU for allowing us to be a part of your lives! Thanks for partnering with our clinic by doing the hard work, showing up for your selves and your kids and partnering with us to show up for kids in foster care through #RedTubDay - we are so incredibly grateful for you all and hope you have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Did you know over the last 10 years, 4,741 children in foster care have been given Christmas gifts through #RedTubDay? This year alone there are already over 725 children (and counting) who will receive Christmas gifts through your generosity and attentiveness to need. To give Christmas to a child in foster care this year you can visit redtubday.com !

We're a little over a month away from #redtubday2021 ! This year we're hoping to provide Christmas gifts for over 1,000 children in the Mid-South and we need your help! Head to redtubday.com to get started!

UPDATE TIME! Three weeks ago, we shared that we were attempting to raise $150,000 in 15 days - it felt ambitious, but we believed! Here's Executive Director Mark (Mo) Ottinger with an update on how it's going...

We need your help! With your participation in our $150kin15days campaign, you help make it possible to build out this room into a production studio! This studio will allow us to host our podcast live, create new video content and continue to bring hope and healing to Memphis families - and everyone within reach of our digital footprint. If you haven't given yet, please do today! Your gifts help us to finish building out our space and bring hope and healing to the heart of the city! memphisfamilycc.org/150kin15days

We couldn’t be more excited to RE-introduce our newest team member to you - Dr. Nicole West! Dr. West graduated from Temple University and completed her graduate studies at LaSalle University. After taking some time to conduct research for the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, Dr. West returned to MFCC this Spring as part of our clinical therapy team. She brings experience in multiple disciplines (including Play Therapy, as she talks about in the video) and is excited to have already begun offering these to families at MFCC. In addition to her role as a therapist, Dr. West will also lead clinical research studies at MFCC and Empowered to Connect, a valuable resource in our efforts to continually improve and expand care to bring hope and healing to families. To give toward the buildout of our Play Therapy Space in the new facility, go to memphisfamilycc.org/150Kin15days !

TRAINING - a high priority to MFCC and one of the elements of our work that binds us to our community so tightly. Whether it's Empowered to Connect Parent Training or ACES/Trauma-Informed training for community non-profits or schools, MFCC is making it a priority to bring hope and healing to families in Memphis. As we close in on our goal of $150K in 15 days would you help us close the gap and build out this training space? You can give at the link below and share this post to help others invest in the future of Memphis families! memphisfamilycc.org/150kin15days

Our counseling team and the range of counseling services we are able to offer make MFCC extremely unique in our city - families are able to receive integrated, holistic therapeutic services with a team of therapists who are under one roof, all collaborating to provide the best courses of care for each individual child, adult and family. With the generous gifts of donors like you, we can turn this blank space into a holistic counseling suite to bring hope and healing to Memphis families! Would you click the link below to give toward our $150K in 15 Days campaign?

We recently highlighted the work of our Occupational Therapists, who primarily serve families in our sensory gym. OT Mistie Hanks and her team have designed an INCREDIBLE new sensory gym that will give the OT's at MFCC an even wider range of therapeutic options to provide care with - but we need your help! Give today toward our $150k in 15 Days campaign to help this sensory gym become a reality in our new space! memphisfamilycc.org/150kin15days

MFCC OT Mistie Hanks joins us today to talk about the way MFCC offers occupational therapy and why having the right resources in the MFCC Sensory Gym makes a huge difference in the level of care being offered! Mistie and her team have designed an innovative NEW sensory gym that will offer the Occupational Therapists at MFCC every available resource needed to help bring dramatic levels of healing to their clients and hope to the families they serve! Would you help us make this new OT space a reality? Giving toward our $150K in 15 Days campaign will allow a state of the art sensory gym to be built for our OT team! You can give now at memphisfamilycc.org/150kin15days
