Weathering the Storm Part 2 provided great insight about how we all can get through difficult or unexpected life changes when we continue to utilize our resources efficiently, maximize our safe space to regroup or talk it through with those we trust before making a final decision. Our young ladies learned that you can get through any difficult time if you adjust perspective, think with a clear mind, utilize previous and new alternative plan and don’t give up !

Wow!!! Weathering the Storm today turned out to be filled with great tips of overcoming difficult times by preparing for setbacks, utilizing multiple solutions, using trusthworthy friends or family to confide in rather than self-isolation and accepting accountability. They learned that setbacks only prepare us for major comebacks and and an even better future if we keep our heads high and push through it! Our craft activity after involve planting a chosen flower of their choice which signifies even in the midst of a storm, something beautiful such as a flower always blossoms after it all!

Check out how our young ladies spring into action on yesterday's session!! Our young ladies decided as a group collectively to go through the creative process of making melt and pour soap! As part of the process of part 1, the girls were given 6 specific steps to design their own soap company including the name, purpose of company? , choosing target audience, and vendors to sell their product.
Make a plan, take accountability and follow through on your commitments!
