Learn how she’s using those skills to offer evidence-based care that helps her patients stay active and improve their overall wellbeing.
During Men’s Health Month, our experts are raising awareness about medical conditions that men commonly face. Urologic oncologist Ava Saidian, MD is an expert in treating prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer, and she encourages men to be vigilant about symptoms, screening and seeking care: “We take care of patients from the very beginning of reaching a diagnosis all the way to surgeries to actually treat and remove the cancer,” she said. “I start by making sure patients understand their diagnosis, then go over the big picture and the next steps. I don’t want anything to come as a surprise.”
