Any middle and high school girls and boys that want to work on their LEFT HANDS, post positioning, and footwork. Basic foundational work only get with me. Real game time exercises, no cone work.

Just wanna help… I’m not a trainer, just a coach that sees a need for the basics.

It takes little to no athleticism to play good defense, it’s almost 100% all HEART, WILL, & EFFORT!

Friends…does anyone have some weights, bench, dumbbells, jump ropes, medicine ball etc, that they want to donate to my charter school youth basketball team. Any and all kinds are accepted.🙏🏾

This young man (Douglass HS student & mom) pictured, while at my office discussing a concern, said, in a sidebar conversation, he loves the Grizzlies and loves Morant…So after speaking with his principal, about his concern. Principal Marketta Steward & I decided to partner and get this young man a few Grizzlies items (some not seen) especially since he is a senior & never got to attend a game. Principal Steward was ecstatic to help in this worthy cause, and so was I!

Took some unsigned seniors on a NAIA college try-out yesterday. Went well…they learned a lot. Thanks to Coach Casey and Coach Tank some real professional and hospitable gentlemen…

This MEAC CHAMPIONSHIP game was 🔥. I just saw some strategic coaching on both sides 💪🏾🏀

To All AAU Team: Outside of selecting the best kids at your tryouts and attempting to win every tournament, boast about how great Coach you are with all 3,4,5 star type talent…be an example outside of basketball for your kids. Teach them positive decision-making skills, life skills, proper social etiquette, even proper dress etiquette. Teach them all the essentials needed to make them productive citizens long after they are through playing the sport so that they can help change the trajectory of the community. Now more than ever, we are at tipping point with our youth. And basketball alone won’t solve the critical problems we are facing with this generation. Coaches you all really looked at as role models even if you don’t want to be. And your TEAMS should be a safe haven and a PROGRAM to teach them athletically but also build up better young men. Even you well-known city-wide programs. I charge you to this as well.

Sometimes what’s good for you, is NOT, what’s good to you….
