Mary Mitchell and Mayor Paul Young in Orange Mound
🌟 Mrs. Mary Mitchell Moves Back Home! 🌟 Long-time Orange Mound community advocate and resident historian, Mary Mitchell, is the beneficiary of HCD home improvement assistance. Mayor Young, family, and community members stopped by to visit her as she returned to the "spot of land" that her family has lived at for over 80 years. 🏑 This project was funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), a federal relief program that was provided to local jurisdictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. πŸ’ΌπŸŽ‰ Let's celebrate this wonderful homecoming and the spirit of our resilient community! 🌿 #memphisaffordablehousing #memphishcd #orangemound #homesweethome City of Memphis
