Isaiah 49:9 NLT ~ I will say to the prisoners, ‘Come out in freedom,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Come into the light.’ They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare.

Let your heart rest in His goodness. Dare to trust Him with the most vulnerable parts of your story. He’s tender with your weakness and compassionate with your hurts. He’ll surround you with His favor as with a shield. You can trust Him. Let hope arise.

When there are no words to say, just be there. Love speaks in the silence, also.

God’s presence changes everything. He didn’t humiliate me. He humbled me. He didn’t condemn me. He convicted me. He didn’t shame me. He invited me to glorify Him in my sufferings, knowing how that process would utterly transform me and give the Enemy less real estate in my life.

End of Day Prayer: Precious Lord, I'm weary after a long day. Fill me up afresh and restore my soul. Help me to release my cares into Your hands and wrap myself up in Your promises. Surround me with Your tender mercies 'till I know in my soul that more rests on Your shoulders than on mine. I can rest in Your grace and trust in Your love. Help me to sleep deeply and sweetly tonight and wake up full of expectancy, ready to face the day tomorrow. Amen.

Keeping a gratitude journal is a great way to redirect your thoughts to all things God. Each night, write down a few ways you noticed God’s involvement in your life that day. Write out a short prayer of thanksgiving. When you develop a habit of gratitude, your brain will assist you in noticing goodness that you’d otherwise miss.
