Wondering what the trick is to safely and efficiently processing a full head of foils?
1️⃣ Mix in small batches. The longer your bleach sits, the less efficient it becomes. Keep the formula fresh so each foil is lifting with the same amount of power. I like to mix up in 30g increments.
2️⃣ Start your foiling service in the area that needs the most lift. Most of the times, those areas are also the strongest. That way the longer it sits, the brighter it gets with less structural damage.

What are your Saturday plans?

I was never great at most sports. Growing up - dancing and singing was my thang!
Over the years, I have found a love for golf. Even though I am not great at it, I love that is a sport anyone can do, and at any age. It is on a golf course that I love spending time with my boys on my days away from the chair
I mean, let’s be real, any sport I can do outside, with family, with a cold beer in my hand - I am here for 😂
Now where is the dang warm and dry weather?

Truth bomb: I never set out to have that be my top service, as I enjoy doing color so much more 😳
The reason I have become so in demand is I am what you would call an “A-type personality”. (If you have met me, this comes as no surprise) 😂
Coloring is beautiful, whimsical, creative - almost like a canvas painting. But haircuts? Haircuts are like architecture. It can be creative and beautiful, but damn you have to be precise… and I like perfection

A couple days ago I posted about gratitude
Since that day, I’ve been practicing appreciating the small moments, trying to understand the rough ones, and relishing in the great ones
Last Friday, I had surgery, and since that day the outpouring of love from my family, friends and community has been overwhelming
So I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has reached out verbally. Thank you to anyone who has stopped by to drop off treats, books, food, and ways to relax. Thank you to those who have stopped by just to keep me company and/or helped out with the boys or keeping the house afloat.
I’ve said it before, but will say it again - I am truly blessed to have such amazing company in this journey called life ❤️

This weekend I got upset at my son for being unappreciative while we were at
Upon reflection of the incident, I realized that if I am to get angry with him, I must also be angry with myself
There are so many things in my life that I take for granted. So many times I think about things being bigger… better… more.
But why do we that? Why is it so hard to stay in the moment and be truly grateful for what you are and have?
So after lots of reflection. Here I am… grateful.
Grateful in the calm and in the chaos. Appreciative for what I’ve been blessed with. Thankful for those people who love and support me, and gracious for who I am.
