Our Father's House of Prayer
Bible believers led by the Holy Spirit, who love to worship and commune with Jesus through prayer.
❤️❤️🙌🏼 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 we are Christ’s epistle , written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God! On the tablets of our hearts 🙌🏼 His Spirit lives in us.
Thank you for your word Lord. May we be encouraged and strengthened by your truth and who we are in you Lord Jesus 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Lord God, may we seek to find counsel in YOU and in those who seek your righteousnesss. May we inquire of you “what we should or shouldn’t do?” Down to every minute desire or want, I’ve looked back at every decision before Christ and everyone after Christ. Truly waiting on Him, has always led to the one without regret.
May we who believe in Christ Jesus study His word and truth accordingly so that when we are asked of for sound advise, may it always be of God’s truth and ways and not out of selfish ambition which is “earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.”
Even ungodly counsel leads us astray and down a crooked path of unrest, in debt, or regret. Praise God for His counsel and wisdom, which He gives generously, when we ask.
“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.”
- James 3:13-16 NKJV
“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” - James 3:17
“Listen to counsel and accept discipline,
That you may be wise the rest of your days. Many plans are in a man’s heart,
But the counsel of the Lord will stand.” -Proverbs 19:20
“He who trusts in his own heart is a fool,
But he who walks wisely will be delivered.” - Proverbs 28:26
Wake up! for our salvation is nearer now than we first believed.
Lord thank you for salvation, thank you for your sacrifice on the cross for us! Your shed blood that atoned for our sins, I’ll never forget what you’ve done for us. Thank you for the beautiful gift of grace may we remain in you as your word reads “Remain in Me and I will remain in you” Thank you Lord for all that you are and that YOU reign over ALL things! Make us ready Lord in Jesus name.. every knee will bow before the Lion and the lamb, Amen!
In John 3:16-20 we read this great statement of truth: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed."
As believers we need to be encouraged of the promises that God is with us during these times. Though the world around us is falling apart, God is still in control. The issue for us today is not necessarily how we can stop the wickedness, but how we can stay faithful to God in the midst of a Godless world. Often, the light of the Gospel shines brightest when things are at its worst. As the world grows ever so closer to facing the wrath of God, we must stand tall and not be ashamed of the Gospel, no matter how much we may suffer for it. - Chris Noland
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” - Proverbs 28:13
May we pray and ask Holy Spirit to reveal any unconfessed sins in our heart. The Lord is faithful to forgive our sins and he blots them out. Thank you Lord for your forgiveness, grace, and unwavering love. Thank you for the blood of Jesus that cleanses me. In Jesus name Amen
