Lately, when I order pizza, I’ve been getting different places interpretations of a style called “Hot lips”. The Tomato sauce, the cheese,the imported salami, the hot honey, all in one bite…. I could go on and on.

Sometimes, I find it difficult to stick to our shtick of Meriden themed names for menu items… SO WHAT HAS HOT LIPS IN MERIDEN?!? I GOT IT!!!

Hand pressed burger, Cheese, Crispy potato straws, and homemade Chimichurri (parsley, garlic, evoo, vinegar, chilis). It’s a summer blast of fresh herbs with the perfect crunch on a burger.

1 Year ago, we slid our glass window open for the first time and started taking orders! In one year we have met so many amazing people and have served so many SLIDERS!!!! To celebrate, we would like to announce that we will now be opening on WEDNESDAYS in addition to our normal weekly schedule, beginning this week!!!!

We will also be adding some new thangs to the menu!!!!

**WEEKLY SPECIAL**

As the Brussel sprouts plunged into the blistering oil, their physical form began to transform. The intense heat triggered a metamorphosis at the cellular level. Layers of crispy, golden skin enveloped its core, a protective shell for the sprout's essence. Rather than succumbing to the fryer, they absorbed the energy, transcending its previous state.

As it was lifted from the oil, no longer just a simple vegetable, it emerged as an enlightened entity, a beacon of wisdom and resilience. “The Meriden Greens” are back for a limited time. Deep fried, drizzled with Sriracha Lime Aioli, and dusted in Parmesan cheese.

Growing up in Meriden I always appreciated seeing all the different cars in town. A lot of them were mixed and matched together with different colored paneling/parts, held together with duct tape and bungee cords, random splotches of crappy primer jobs. They may have not been the prettiest cars but they had character… I like that.

This week’s special is our “Sloppy Jalopy” Sausage and Pepper Sliders.

Sweet Italian Pork Sausage Smashed Patty, cheddar cheese, grilled and slowly caramelized peppers and onions. It’s not the prettiest, but it has a lot of character.
