Today was a special day. My boys and I (hubby is on duty) helped lay wreaths at the Idaho Veteran’s Cemetery. As in years past, it was truly an honor. This year was tough, though, having lost my Father to Agent Orange exposure and what our family has endured because of it. (To be continued)

It was extra special to watch as my oldest comfort a widow who has lost her husband much like my Mom had lost my father and husband of 50 years. He stood there holding her and comforting her as they both grieved.

Freedom isn’t free. It’s up to us to bring the next generation up to understand that.
