A blend of creative and traditional photography for weddings and portraits.
I was so excited to celebrate with Kylar and Blake last weekend. Happy 1 week anniversary, by the way! It was the perfect day – full of love and sweet little details -- even an adorable little first look with Kylar’s nephew. It was my last official wedding on the books, and it was such a perfect wrap-up of so many wonderful moments throughout the years. Congratulations, you two! Next time you’re over in Idaho, let’s go out and keep celebrating!
Wrapping up the last of the weddings on my books (just one more to go!), and despite the hundreds of celebrations, they still get me. I definitely shed my share of happy tears for Nicole and Cody! Their love story spanned the country and years of tough school, and you can tell they were just so happy to be getting hitched. I’m so honored that I had the chance to party with you!

After hearing about their dating experience (extreme road trip through nearly all the states while living in their Prius with their dogs), it was fitting that Lyndsay and Logan packed their bags again and hopped across the pond to France to tie the knot.
Their progressive wedding day plan included hopping on and off the metro to stops at the Place de Vosges, Sacré-Cœur, the Trocadero with views of the Eiffel Tower, and the Pont Alexandre III bridge (and would have included more if it wasn’t over 100 degrees!). We wrapped up with a reception at the 17th century Château de Rubelles where most of the guests stayed for the weekend.
Calling it a nonstop, whirlwind trip doesn’t even scratch the surface. Congratulations, Lyndsay and Logan. Hope you’re getting to rest up and catch your breath!
I’m a bit behind on wedding sneak peeks – I had to make a quick trip across the pond for a wedding. Just before leaving through, I had the pleasure of celebrating with Lindsay & Marcus! Rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck, and if that’s true, these two are the luckiest ones in the universe. The rain didn’t let up all day, but we donned umbrellas and smiles and made the most of it. If you two can handle this, you can handle anything!
Thank you to...
The Barn at Blue Meadows - thank you for having such a big barn!

And I'm sure many other wonderful people who put this day together!
The forecast all week had called for rain on Saturday, but the skies cleared up just for these two. The day was full of glamour, sunshine, love and laughter. By the end of the night, these two had perfected their dip/kiss, their smolder, and the art of partying and celebrating with loved ones. Congratulations, Kara and Jake!

I only have a handful of weddings left and I intend to treasure every single one. I've been waiting so long for Gabriela and Mariano to tie the knot (but probably not as long as they've been waiting!). Life has thrown them a lot of ups and downs the past few years, but anyone can tell that it has just made them stronger. It was such a treat to spend the day with you both, congratulations!
I’ve been quiet over here on social media. Just resting and listening. Still working a lot, just taking a mental break. Change has been brewing in our little corner of the world.
This summer will mark 15 years of shooting weddings. I’ve only booked a handful this summer instead of my usual full plate. As I said, change has been brewing for a while, but after 15 wonderful years of first looks and first dances, I’ve decided to officially retire from photographing weddings. I can’t even express how grateful I am to so many of you who have entrusted me to help capture the memories from your wedding. I consider so many of you to be among my close friends, but the time has come to pivot.
Even bigger change…once the school year is over, our family will be moving to the Boise area! I’ve been blessed to call the Walla Walla Valley home for my entire life, but I’ve realized that I’m still craving new adventures. My one and only boy will be starting high school next year and I want to spend a few summers together where I’m not working every weekend. A new job for my husband, back to school for myself, and more time family time for all of us. I’m taking a few classes now and hopefully jumping into nursing school soon.
In the meantime, I am hoping to devote more time to my portrait photography and to have more energy to breathe creativity back into my families, seniors, and newborns. We’ll be here in Walla Walla until June and I would LOVE to see you all in front of my lens! We’re keeping our home here as well (you can peek at it on both Airbnb & VRBO), so hopefully we’ll have lots of visits back to the area. I’ll still be shooting over in Boise too, if you ever feel like a road trip or just need a place to crash.
The love and support from our community here in Walla Walla has been so overwhelmingly positive while I grew my business. I’ve met so many people and had so many wonderful experiences through my lens that the idea of change brings tears to my eyes. But, to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven, and we really feel that this change is the best for our family right now. Thank you all for loving us!
Wrapped up my 2021 wedding season with a bang! We ended up with the absolute most beautiful day to celebrate Ashlyn & Anthony’s wedding. I’ve known Ashlyn since she was born (yep, I’m that old), and it was such an honor to be there to see her marry her best friend. Everyone was laughing and smiling and crying all day. Congratulations, you two!
The skies cleared up just in the nick of time, revealing a perfect fall day for Maloree & Kyle. It felt as though the whole town showed up to celebrate. I loved hearing stories from family and friends about how long they knew the couple and special they are. Mal & Kyle, thank you for sharing your day with me!
When you work as a wedding coordinator, planning your own wedding is a huge undertaking. Sierra & Dan, you pulled it off with so many wonderful details and the beautiful combination of glamor and elegance in a rustic, country setting. Congratulations to you both and your families, it was great to celebrate with you!

What a special wedding this was! Melissa & Clayton, it was so obvious that all of your friends and family were so thrilled to be spending this day with you. There were so many moments and memories woven throughout the day and in all the little details. I hope these photos help to bring back all of those wonderful memories and that it’s just the start of a lifetime of many more!
The fantastic vendor team…I think was mostly friends and family! Everybody stepped up to make the day flow pretty seamlessly. A huge shout out to Staci Wanichek for second shooting with me. You are truly a ray of sunshine!
My first trip down to Austin was nothing short of a fairy tale. I was so blessed to make the trip to Texas to celebrate with Sierra and Jared and their friends and family. We’ve known Sierra’s family for years, and in some ways grew up together, so it was such an honor to be there for this milestone. There aren’t the right words to describe how overwhelmed I was with the love and beauty in this day, so I guess I’ll just show it in pictures!
(On a side note -- it was a beautiful “full circle” moment for me, since Sierra’s mom, Julie, was my mentor in photography and got this whole journey started 14 years ago!)
I know I didn’t get all of the vendors names (so please feel free to shout them out!), but here are a few that helped make this day amazing:
Venue: Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Planning: Couture Concierge Event Planning Solutions
Hair/MUA: Bethany Elyse Hair & Makeup

It was a pretty perfect day up in Prosser this past weekend where we all gathered to celebrate Caitlin & Cory. Surrounded by their friends and family, the tied the knot and celebrated the night away. I was actually a bit sad to leave at the end! From the live band (Whiskey Creek Band was awesome!) to cookies for dessert, it truly was the best day ever. Congratulations, Caitlin & Cory!

*Sorry, I know I'm missing a lot of you. I'm out of town and my brain is a little scrambled, you were amazing!
Wedding #2 this weekend for me -- and for this couple! The pandemic postponed the original wedding plans, but these two pushed through and had a backyard wedding on their original wedding date way back in 2020. So, this past weekend, they got together with their family and friends to do a sweet vow renewal and party to celebrate the first of many years of wedded bliss! Congratulations, Nicole & Matt!

Natalie and Tanner tied the knot at their family homestead here in town this past weekend. To be married in such a beautiful place, surrounded by friends and family, is so special. It’s exactly what a wedding should be! We did photos by the barn, the bunkhouse, the 100+ year old walnut tree, and we wrapped up the night with a dance party in the walnut grove. Grandpa was the best man (both literally and figuratively), and did I mention how they both love the outdoors and fishing? Make sure to scroll right so you can see how they hooked each other. Congratulations, Natalie and Tanner, my heart is so full!
I didn't catch all the different vendor names, so please pm me if I need to add you!

Avery & Jordan got hitched on the most perfect day this past weekend. We just the right amount of sunshine and no shortage of love. These two have been sweethearts since high school and it was such an honor to be there for their wedding. There were so many great details throughout day – from their custom cake topper to brother officiating the wedding, and the amazing food! El Sombrero and Bright’s are amazing, but my heart belongs to Mama’s Mac and Cheese. Congratulations!
I didn’t get all the vendor names down, so please feel free to message me to add your name if you helped out on this beautiful day:

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for a while! Not due to any pandemic delay, just because I’ve known how perfect these two were for each other for so long. They go together like all of those quotes…a wink and a smile, PB&J, cookies and milk, Han & Leia…and on and on. The day might have thrown us a lot of different weather, but as the heat gave way and we hunkered down through a mild dust storm, we ended the night dancing in the rain and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Congratulations Anita & Joey!

Still swooning over this beautiful, backyard wedding. All of the beautiful details, combined with the sounds of love and laughter and the beautiful notes of French made for such a dreamy, romantic evening. Congratulations, Will & Joëlle!
Scott and Courtney waited extra long so that they could party with friends and family, and it was definitely worth the wait! All the little details – from the perfect veil (who later turned against us, lol), to the funniest toasts (complete with an unintentional rebranding of the couple as “Scourtney”) – the day was packed full of some pretty great memories. Scourtney, it was an honor to celebrate with you!
High-five to the great team!...

One of the best perks of small-town living is the relationships you make along the way. I’ve been so fortunate to know the groom and his family for more than half of my life, in so many different facets. They were even there for my wedding, more than 20 years ago! What a blessing it is to spend the day with them as their family grew a little larger. Congratulations, James & Kristen!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people quite so competitive as Katie & Matt. Along with that fierce competition is an equally fierce love for each other and their friends and family. Most everybody came from out of town to celebrate with them, and rumor has it that some of them partied until the sun came up. (Not me though, I’m old enough to have a pretty strict bedtime, lol.) Katie & Matt, it was so much fun to be a part of your day!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people more excited to be married! Jeff & Maddy faced all sorts of crazy weather this weekend, including the most lovely little downpour, with so much grace, happiness, and love. I just adored all of the little details that they thought of, including family-made flower vases, Grandma Karen’s whoopie-pies for dessert, and (what might be my most favorite), sneaking away for a little alone time and a cocktail before walking down the aisle. Congratulations you two!
