Good morning everyone! ☀️

I wanted to hop on this morning with a different post than I usually do.

These past couple of months have been very stressful and filled with different twists and turns. Through the process of life my skin has been taking a BEATING. And for some reason I felt ashamed of my skin. I think what was getting me hung up on the whole situation is that I am an esthetician so why am I having skin issues? People come to ME for help with their skin and I can’t even get mine in check. You see, it isn’t that easy! So many things have contributed to my skin problems and skincare isn’t one. Environmental triggers, stress, diet, and hormones play a huge factor in our skin and some weeks are better than others. I think it is important to be raw and unedited sometimes. In a world where we want a quick fix and perfection it’s easy to get hung up on the frustration of waiting and treating ourselves correctly. So here it is! My rosacea, and currently cystic flared skin! 🤍

And honestly- I’m going to take it one day at a time and embrace it for what it is!

Some issues are only skin deep and I have to remind myself that it is okay and completely normal.
